I have tried everything I owned. Nothing looked good on me. I tried being creative, changing it a bit. Didn't work.
I am sitting in a mess of clothes everywhere in this damned room. As if it wasn't already messy with my art supplies and unfinished paintings. I don't know what the fuck to do. I can't even ask Liz for help. She's not home yet, and probably wouldn't be home before I go. So I FaceTimed Hades for some advice.
"Hey."
"Hi. Which one is better looking in your opinion? A red dress that isn't too slutty or too simple or a blue long one with a V neck?" I asked holding the two options.
"I don't know. Which one do you like more?" He asked not helping one bit.
"I don't fucking know Alex! You think I would ask you if I knew?" I'm so frustrated.
"Wow, calm down. You don't have to freak out. It's not that big of a deal." He tried to reassure. Again, didn't work.
"Yes, it is a big deal the fuck?? This is the first time I meet your dad and you're telling me to calm down? I-I mean how do I even act? What do I say? Hello your highness Mr Alex's father. I have been fucking your son for months now, how are you?" I acted out.
"First off, please don't say that. You think you're the only one who's nervous to meet him? I am too. I haven't seen him for months. We don't have that strong relationship." How is that supposed to make me feel better? "Easy for you to say, you don't have to meet my father." I whispered.
"What was that?"
"Nothing. Which one is better Hades? Tell me now, I still have to do my makeup and hair and stuff."
He ended picking the first option AKA the red one. I then did everything as quickly but trying to keep it as perfect as possible.
I have never been this nervous in my life. "Ready to go?" Hades asked wearing a black suit for whatever reason. We look so hot I can't even lie.
I put my hand in between the space he created by bending his elbow. (I'm pretty sure there is a word/verb for that but I'm too lazy to search for it. You're smart though, you know what it is.)
"Hey." Someone said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hm?"
"We're here." We are? I totally didn't feel the ride.
That's what she said.
I nodded getting out of the car. "You look so beautiful." He complimented before holding my hand in his. I nodded smiling looking at my outfit one more time.
