They're here.

It's the next day and you're woken up by a very excited Camilo

"y/n wake up!" he's shaking you by the shoulders to try and wake you up.

"wHoA I'm Up!!" you scream while getting shaken vigorously

"There are new visitors in town!" he screams delightfully

You've fully woken up now.

"there are WHAT?!"

You sprint out of bed to see the new visitors in the casita being greeted by Abuela. There's about 5 of them but you knew who they were. And they knew who you were. You sneaked back into your room trying not to be spotted and close the door with Camilo oblivious to what's happening

"isn't this cool!?" he asks

"NO THIS IS VERY NOT COOL. THEY ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS CRIMINALS FROM ONE OF THE TOWNS I ESCAPED FROM Dolores I hope you can hear this..." you whisper yell

You hear a knock on your door

"y/n? we have some new visitors that would like to meet you!" says Abuela

"nope. Have fun, Camilo." You turn invisible to hide from Abuela and the 4 ruffians storming into your room

"Camilo? What are you doing here? Where is y/n?" Abuela asks the very nervous Camilo as he's being towered by the criminals

You walk up to Camilo's ear and whisper something

"y/n has decided to leave for the next town... he is very sorry that he couldn't give you a proper farewell, and is very far away from Encanto," Camilo says in an almost robotic voice.

"and he has a message for the new visitors." You walk up behind each of them with Luisa, Isabela, and Mirabel who were alerted by Dolores overhearing you whispering your plan to Camilo

"EAT THIS ASSHOLES!!" all of you simultaneously knock each of them out cold with a very shocked and angry Abuela.

"What on earth are you doing niño?!" Abuela screams

"Okay, so they are a few of the people that want me dead for the very illegal things I did before arriving here. I presume they got here through the crack in the mountain so we are gonna need to do something about that if you don't want this town up in flames."

Abuela has a shocked but understanding look on her face. Isabela and Luisa drag each of the ruffians out and leave them beyond the mountains.

"Great! Now we have to patch the crack... in the... wall..." it then dawns on you how hard that's going to be

"Oh crumbs..."

Casita helps as much as they can as they were the original creator of the mountains by trying to move the two sides as close to each other as possible and we have to cement the cracks.

"Thanks, casita. Alright, now we need a lot of cement to fix those cracks. Let's do this thing!"

And everyone gets to work. Everyone has slight worries at the fact that they will be isolated from the outside world once more but it is for the greater good.

The days go by with the crack being cemented slowly but surely and each week or so, new visitors arrive to try and break into the town.

"maybe I should just leave... I'm causing trouble for you all..." you start to doubt yourself as months of building trust and relaxing starts to fade away. You and Camilo were sitting on a bench watching everyone work so hard

"don't say that! You're a part of the Madrigals and we're not letting you go anywhere without us!" Camilo says to re-encourage you to stay

"I'm just so tired of running and just when I thought I was finally safe, the guys chasing me finally caught up and now I just feel like everything's gone wrong because of me. Wouldn't be the first time..." your eyes go blank as if this was your default to this kind of thing. You just had to act like nothing was wrong and do what you needed to do to survive even if it's deadly.

"mi amor? Are you okay?" Camilo's voice sounded hollow to you as if it was just another person trying to hurt you again.

You just sort of...stopped and fell onto Camilo's shoulder before sighing with exhaustion.

"you've been so kind to me ever since I got here... thank you, Camilo... I love you..."

And with that, you passed out. As if the pressure of hiding exhausted you to the point where you just wanted to fall over and perish.

Camilo was scared for you. But he knew that just being there for you would be enough for you. So he didn't move and instead drifted off to sleep with his head on top of yours.

When the family found you and Camilo. You both looked so peaceful together like that. Mirabel carried you back home while Isabela carried Camilo and placed you both in your rooms.

"I love you Camilo..." you whispered in your sleep

"I love you y/n..." Camilo whispered in the other room

You woke up as if you heard him whisper, and so you went out and over to his room and knocked on his door

It was answered by a very sleepy Camilo

"y/n? did you need something?"

You didn't say anything but gave him a slow and tired hug.

"I love you, Camilo, Honestly and truly... can I sleep with you tonight...?"

Camilo is caught a little off guard and thinks this is a dream

"I love you too, and yes of course you can." He brings you into his room where both of you collapse into bed with Camilo's hands around your waist, with him still thinking it's a dream.

And both of you easily fall asleep.

Camilo wakes up in the morning only to realise that it's not a dream. And you have just confessed to him. His panicking wakes you up so you just tug on his shirt as he sat up

"I didn't say you could leave. I'm tired let's sleep in... also yes. What I said last night was true. I want you to be my boyfriend Camilo but only if you want to as well..."

Both of you go quiet for a little while until Camilo responds

"I'd gladly be your boyfriend Y/n"

And then you went red in the face

Camilo giggled then layed back on his bed.

The mountain crack has been sealed, and everyone is safe.

For now.
