Peters pov

I have work soon which is great because I'll get to see Wanda, I haven't seen her in like a week because she just got back from a mission in Russia with the avengers

Its so crazy that when I met Wanda I thought she was a normal civilian and I didn't want to put her in any danger so I didn't make a move and we just stayed friends but then she told me she was the scarlet witch and that she knew I was Spider-Man because she accidentally got in my head with her telepathic powers and we started dating like a month later

I really love her and we've been dating for over a year now

We met because I'm one of the top scientists in stark industries and she sometimes works as a receptionist/assistant there when she's bored

I leave my apartment that I live in with some other friends from work and start walking towards the tower which isn't too far

I stop to grab a coffee at the moon dance diner on my way and check the newspaper stands outside

On the top of the stand there's a few magazines with my High school girlfriend, liz's, face on them which is surprising but most the articles are about Spider-Man

I get a text from Wanda as I turn the corner so I'm facing the tower

Peters pov

I get into the lift and go to intern level 3 where I meet Wanda who's sitting at the reception since she works there whenever she's bored, well that's how it started but she started working more frequently when she met me so she could see me more

When she sees me she stands up and walks around the counter to hug and kiss me

"I missed you so much" she says with a pout

"I missed you too" I say "what are you doing later? We could go for dinner"

"I wish I could but we're having a "family dinner"" she groans "I could go for a walk after that if you want"

"Yeah we'll do that" I say and kiss her one last time before I have to go into work

Today I do the same thing I do every day except for one difference, I notice the weird black goo that's usually in a tube on Bruce's desk isn't there, maybe he has it out for testing or something

Bruce and I work in the same lab but haven't spoke much, we're both pretty introverted people so that's kind of expected I'd say if someone introduced us we'd get along very well but right now it's pretty awkward

I get back to working on the cure for an acid burn my web shooters have been giving me sometimes but am quickly stopped when something cold lands on my back

My hand flys to my back to get it off but when I touch my neck I notice the thing I thought was a huge heavy blob is gone, that's when I start to panic, what if it was Bruces go? but where did it go?
