A week has passed since the incident in Dandelion Sea.

Childe has been summoned to Favonious Knights HQ to receive his reward.

Bennett, Pallad and other adventurers just walk out when he arrive.

They look very happy with the rewards.

Pallad has attached the Medal of Honor on his shirt. As if fearing no one knows his latest achievements in Spring Vale.

Childe enters the HQ. He smiles a bit bitterly. He would never dream going into this building in his last occupation.

Albedo and Aether have been waiting for him in the reception chamber.

He greets, "You are finally here. How's your wounds?"

"I felt much better after drinking the potion you sent."

"I'm glad to hear it."

His potion works wonders. My external wounds almost healed. It's obvious why people admire him as a great alchemist.

Childe asks, "Could I ask you a great favor? I lost my vision due to heavy injuries before. Maybe there is a potion to recover it?"

"Hmm... I never heard something about it before. I'll look up old research journals first," replies Albedo.

"Okay. Thank you."

Aether asks, "Have you seen a doctor?"

"The one in Monstadt can't do much about it."

Albedo suggests, "Why not go further? Bubu Pharmacy in Li Yue Harbor. I heard the doctor, Baizu is famous for healing many ailments."

Childe smiles and he replies, "Thank you. Maybe I will travel there once I have saved enough money."

Aether nudges Albedo and his boyfriend finally recovers from deep thinking mode.

Albedo smiles sheepishly while offering reward money.

He says, "Thank you for protecting Klee."

"It's my job."

The pouch is rather a heavy one.

Albedo says, "I have to leave now. Thanks again."

He has walked away. Back to his lab.

Aether apologizes, "Sorry. He isn't good in socializing with people."

"I understand. How's Klee?"

"Grounded. She's writing I won't bombed anyone again 5,000 times right now. She lost desserts for a fortnight."

Childe chuckles. For kids, losing desserts meant losing hope in life.

He remembered his little brother always has nothing to life for.jpg expression whenever he got this kind of punishment.

Childe looks around. The HQ looks kinda deserted right now.

He asks, "It's too quiet here, don't you think?"

"Another invasion in Springvale. Capt. Kaeya has led the others out to repel it. Only guards stay in their posts."

"Hmm..."

It's so suspicious. Why Springvale? It holds no strategic value to Monstadt. The city could buy foods from somewhere else.

Aether bids him goodbye.

A maid greets, "Good morning. Are you, Mr. Childe? Acting Grandmaster Jean is ready to receive you right now."

"Thank you."
