After the building crash, Harumi is found under broken concrete walls, The family that Harumi saved took her to their house and try to help her their.
The mother is a doctor and decided to patch all of her wounds and check on her injuries, good thing they were only minor.
The mother has her own clinic at their house and it's full of equipment for eye checks. The mother is an opthalmologist where she is a doctor for eyes.
Harumi's eyes started to wake up at first it was a bit blurry, then it become clear but something was odd she can't see colors, the only color she can see is black, gray and white.
When she stand up, she saw a woman and ask her
"Who are you? and Where am I? Harumi asked
"I am the mother of the family you helped and you are currently at my clinic, to let your injuries heal" The woman answered
Harumi remembers now on who she is but she is still confused on why everything is Black and White
"Uhmm is it just me or everything I saw is Black and White?" Harumi asked
"Let me check your eyes dear" The woman answered
The woman use her phoroptor to check on Harumi's eyes then she put the results on her computer
The woman was shock, she saw that her optic nerve have been a bit damage but it's not deadly and it could be cured easily, but the thing that the woman is worried about is Harumi is colorblinded
"Ms. I am sorry to say but your colorblind" The woman said in a sad tone
"Can it be cured?" Harumi asked shivering
"Apparently not, the fall have cause your optic nerve to slant a bit but it can be aligned, but your colorblindness can't " The woman explained
Harumi is shock, she don't know what to do, she know she deserves this because of everything that happened in the city, she smile a bit because she was given a chance to live but every good thing has a price.
Her life exchange for her color vision.
"What will happen now?" Harumi asked
"I will give you your medicine and you can take them only for a week because the damage is not severe and you can stay as well" The woman smiled
"Thank you, but I'm not sure if I can live like this, It's like everything I see is dead only colors can prove if something is alive or not" Harumi said
"The color is not the thing that shows something if it's alive or not, it's the love that we show" The woman said
Harumi smiled and nodded

It has been a week and the woman said that Harumi's nerve is already cured but she's still not happy about her being colorblind. The Doctor decided to bring to Jamanakai Village's gardens where it's full of green lush and flowers, so they can breathe fresh air
When they were on the way to Jamanakai she noticed that she saw the color of a plant and a tree but it surroundings we're still black and white
"Doc. I can see the colors of the plants and trees but I it's surroundings are still black and white" Harumi said
"You do?" The doctor asked shocked
"Yes" Harumi said
The doctor smiled
"Well I guess you will love to see this place" The doctor said and continue driving
Harumi is confused on where they're going but she didn't she just sit and look at the window and see some of the colors
When they arrive at Jamanakai Harumi saw a basket and it's color green but the things around the basket is still black
"I can see the color green and the things involves nature but how?" Harumi said
"The truth be told Harumi I don't know, maybe something have happened but I honestly don't know the good thing is you can see a color" The doctor replied
The doctor and Harumi head to the gardens and Harumi is amazed she saw its colors, its beauty, everything, she has felt so much joy then when she look back it was black and white
"When I saw the plants and flowers, I can see the colors but if I look back at the village its black and white" Harumi said
The doctor smiled, she is happy that this turn out well
"Well do you want to live here?" The doctor asked
"Can I?" Harumi asked
"If this what makes you alive and happy you may" The doctor answered
Harumi smiled
"They said this is a magical garden where it's flowers are use for teas and potions" The doctor said
"They do?" Harumi asked
"I heard other people said it, but I am not sure thou" The doctor replied
Harumi didn't care if this garden is magical or not she's just happy that she feel free here
"Look there's a shed there" Harumi said
"Well it doesn't look like a shed, I mean it looks like it but bigger" The doctor said
The doctor and Harumi head to it and enter it and saw more flowers and plants
Harumi walk further and she can still see the colors, She saw a writing and said
True colors are not from the outside but in the inside
It depends on how you look on it
Harumi smiled and look back at the doctor
"You can stay here, it looks like no one lives here after all" The doctor said
Harumi nodded
"But what about my--" Harumi is cut off by a glowing thing
A suitcase appear in front of her and when she opened it, it has he clothes in it
"I guess this place really wants you here" The doctor complimented
Harumi smiled
"I guess this is good bye" Harumi said in a sad tone
"Yes but I'll still visit if I have time" The doctor said and wipe of the tear that appear on Harumi's face
"Ok" Harumi said
The doctor smiled and hug her and pull out and started to wave
"I'll see you next time" The doctor said and wave
Harumi smiled and wave back at the doctor
