Doctor- Family of David Brewster

I damn near jumped out of my seat

Donna- this is his wife

Me- Doctor please tell me my husband is okay

Doctor- Mrs. Brewster your husband is very strong he is in there fighting and we are too he had 2 gunshots to the stomach and we are doing everything we can

Me- listen to me keep him alive

Doctor- I don't suppose to make promises but I am telling you I promise I will get him through this I am going to get back to surgery and I will have my resident keep you updated

Me- thank you, Doctor

I let out a small breath because I know David was not gone leave me

Carlos- Faye sit down

Donna- yes do you need anything is the baby okay

Me- im fine Im staying calm

Donna held my hand and Mel and Ally sat close behind me

Jay, Caesar, and Skeet walked to the floor with everyone and I immediately got up

Me- come talk to me

They followed me to a secluded area

Me- ima ask this one time where the fuck was Dave security

Doctor- we just moved him to the recovery wing he is doing just fine I wanted to give him some time to wake up from the anesthesia so there wouldn't be any surprises when you went in to see him the first thing he said was to bring him his mamas
