(A/N the kid's ages so I can remember lol Kairi 2, Layla 6, Kobi 5 months)

Me- okay Kobi relax mama, please

She only cried more, Dave had to go out of town four days ago, and he was with us heavily for two weeks because he knew we were going to miss him so he wanted to spend all his time with us. But that does not stop our girls from missing him like crazy. Kobi will just cry for him, Kairi acts an ass when he leaves, and Layla gets emotional often because she is old enough to call him anytime unless he is busy and can't answer so she gets in her feelings. Of Course, I have my days but I have to be okay for their sake.

Me- I know baby he will call us soon as he leaves his meeting

I finally got her to stop crying because she drifted off to sleep. Give me the strength I don't know if we can do any more days without him

I looked in the dining area watching Kairi as she tried to pull down my curtains

Me- aht aht Kairi stop it now

Kairi- no mama

Me- you wanna sit in time out I see

Kairi- no mama

Me- then stop sit down

She went off to her room and I shook my head

I went to the kitchen to make myself a coffee

Layla came to the kitchen looking at me with her eyes watering

Me- what's wrong mama

Layla- daddy didn't answer

She got so emotional omg

Me- awww come here, baby

I picked her up hugging her tight kissing her face

Me- I promise he will call us soon when he is free, he always calls

Layla- I miss him so much

Me- I miss him too and I know daddy miss us, even more, wipe that beautiful face and maybe call Maria and talk for a while that will cheer you up

Layla- okay mommy I love you

Me- I love you more

I sat her down and she went to her room

Incoming Mel

Mel- hey just checking on you and the girls

Me- girl I just got Kobi to stop crying and Kairi was on her bad shit and Layla have her sad times when he can't talk to her

Mel- see Maria be on her attitude and bad shit when Jay go out of town I just sent her ass to her room for rolling her eyes and stomping her feet at me

Mel- girl what we gonna do with our daddies girls

Mel- drink wine honey lol I had to smoke the other day when she was with you because that attitude is all me lol

Me- that is how I feel with Kairi she is going to be my problem child because her attitude is all me and on top of that she thinks she can do whatever because of her daddy lol

Mel- I need to have a girls day

Me- mama just texted me earlier because her sister is in town and she wants to get all the kids to give us a break

Mel- yes mama Donna come through
