"Thank you for walking me" I turned around and smiled at him. Just as he said he stopped a block away from our apartment "no biggies. Let's have dinner again some other time?"
I nod in approval, liking the slightest conversations we had at the restaurant earlier "sure. I'll text Dahyun about it-" I turned around when he grabs my arm, pulling me towards him
"I meant, just the two of us"
The words run dry on my throat from what I just heard. His grip on me tightened when I didn't respond "sorry" he pulled his hand back and laughed awkwardly "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable"
"I-I'll get going now"
"When?" His devastated face popped up in a hopeful surprise. He nervously opens his mouth and asks me, unsure if he might have misheard my words "pardon?"
"When are we going to have dinner?" I rephrased while laughing, he looks cute when anxious. He scoffs a laugh before ruffling his fluffy hair "uh, is Tuesday good?"
"Yup, it's set" I saw the delighted stretch in his lips, this was the widest of his smiles, and the most adoring one that he could ever give me "don't tell anyone, not even Jungkook"
He lifted both his brows and smirked
"They don't have to know."
He said before walking away. It may have sounded normal and specific to him but down inside the thoughts of us but he and I knew
