A soft chill was in the air. The window was barely cracked open. Beaming streams of light seeped through the blinds. The curtains danced as the wind twirled them gently. Distant birds flew and sang, welcoming the new day over a pale new blue sky.
Two people were clustered close together, sheets entangled them. Henry's usually styled and pleasant hair was now slightly mangled, underneath him was Y/n's h/c hair in the same situation, but it didn't matter.
"Don't you have work, Henry?" She asked quietly. "It can wait." Y/n shifted over to look at him with a curious gaze. "You're usually eager to get started on your research." Henry softly chuckled. "I don't know, but...today is different. I just wanna rest. Especially when its with you." His eyes glimmered.
Y/n's heart filled with emotion. "This moment, it's...perfect. And I wanna savor it. " He brought her hands to his lips. Y/n's face was beaming at him, and the two swaddled closer together, cuddling, savoring their moment as golden bars of light blanketed them, only adding to the perfection.
