An ear piercing screech was heard in the dead of midnight. It made its way into Y/n's ears, and into her head, and infiltrated itself into her dream. Her heart pounded and echoed throughout her body, and she jolted awake, sweating and panting. She blinked and her eyes darted around the room.

She looked to her right. He wasn't there. "Oh no." She stammered and got out of the bed and rushed out of the room in only her night gown. She ran through the mansion hallways out pushed herself out the back door of the place, and into the backyard where the lab was.

Barefoot, she ran across the stone steps and dead grass to the lab, and shakily but quickly put her frail hands on the doorknob and rushed inside. "Henry?" She'd call. It was dark, she couldn't see anything or anyone. "Edward?" She then called. There was a short pause, and then a scream of terror erupted from what seemed to be the middle of the lab.

Y/n, panicking, rushed to where the scream came from, and there, in the light of the moon, stood a horrific sight. It looked like Henry was in mid transformation reverting back to himself, but this time, it looked like Hyde was trying to fight the formula and keep his physical form. It was horrific, and painful to see.

Cries and tears escaped Henry, and occasionally laughs and grins came and went, and Henry fell to his knees in agony as the formula started taking more effect. Hyde wasn't going to win this battle, but he didn't stop his torment. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Henry sobbed. His expression then instantly changed to a red eyed, sharp grin. "I DON'T THINK SO, JEKYLL!" His expression changed again to a sorrow, fearful gaze. Y/n froze and watched in horror, she couldn't move.

She knew about everything, but she had never seen a transformation before. Henry didn't want her to be around Hyde too much, and a little deal between the two was that Hyde was free to do whatever in the cover of night, but had to return before sunrise and had to be in bed so Henry could wake to see his wife. There were other details, but Edward, being the stubborn brat he is, ignored them.

He was calming down at this point, Hyde traces and grins leaving, and that left a exhausted Henry. Henry panted and collapsed onto the floor. He was sweating all over, his cheeks soaked with tears, and his throat burning from screaming so much. That was the worst transformation he ever had, considering how Hyde fought back this time.

Y/n finally regained her grasp on reality and rushed to her husbands side. She brought his head into her lap and looked down at him in a state of severe worry. Henry looked up at her, tears welling up. She let an "oh" escape her lips as she then brought him up enough so she could hug and cradle him in her arms. Henry latched onto her, loosing himself and sobbing.

He buried his face in the crook of her neck, letting everything out as she soothingly ran her fingers through his messy, tangled hair. He repeatedly let out cries and sniffed. He cuddled closer to her, he needed all her comfort. She planted a little kiss on his forehead and continued cradling him, and whispered soothing words to him.

He calmed down a bit, and began to talk. "He won't stop." He whispered. "He won't leave me alone, he won't stop saying things to me, he won't stop torturing me, he won't..." He trailed off into another sob. "Shhh.." Was all Y/n said, it was all she could say. "I'm afraid Y/n...I'm scared..He wants you..I'm afraid of what he'll do if he ever gets the chance to be with you alone." Henry confessed.

Y/n gazed into his eyes. "Don't worry about me." She replied. "I'm not afraid of him." "You've never fully met him." "And if I do, I'll know how to deal with it." Henry softly looked at you, more tears welling up in his eyes. "I love you Y/n, I don't want anything to happen to you, I swore to love and protect you when I chose you to be my wife, I don't want to break my promise. " Y/n placed a kiss on his warm, quivering lips. "You won't."

She gave him a warm, hopeful smile. Henry gave a soft, weak smile in return. "I love you Mrs.Y/n Jekyll." "I love you too, Dr.Henry Jekyll."
