Maurice Dizon PoV

"Yuri!" sigaw ko sakaniyang pangalan.

Napansin ko na may kausap siya. The woman's curvy body seemed familiar with her back facing me, just like the woman I gazed at the airport. She also has the same wavy hair katulad nung babae sa..... bar?

Nagtataka man ay kinausap ko parin si Yuri, "Sorry. Kanina kapa?" tanong ko sakanya as soon as I reached the both of them.

I turned my head to finally see the person's face, we locked eyes. Her captivating features immediately caught me off guard and shit-

Wait-

Iris? Shit, siya nga. Naalala niya ba ako?

"Oh, this is my sister Maurice Dizon," pagpapakilala sakin ni Yuri sakanya.

Ang hindi niya alam ay nakilala ko na siya.

She gladly extended her arm out to shake hands.

"Maurice, this is Blair,"

"Iris," sinabayan ko si Yuri ngunit parehas kaming tatlong nagulat nang sabihin ko 'yon.

"Excuse me?" nagsalita na siya after a couple seconds of an awkward eye contact.

What? Hindi niya ako naalala? She seem confused as well.

"Ah- sorry, I thought you were someone I know," pagsisinungaling ko na lamang.

Ramdam ko rin ang pagka confuse ni Yuri sa nangyayare, but she managed to play along.

"It's okay, actually, my name's Iris too, but I'm used to being called Blair," ngumisi siya sakin.

Wow, she's really pretty.

"Is that so? Well, nice to see you, Blair," tsaka natuloy ang pakikipagkamay namin.

"Likewise," she says, still wearing her perfect smile. "I'm heading now, drive safe," dagdag niya pa.

"Yes, you too, Blair," sabi ni Yuri sakanya habang ako naman ay ngumiti lang sakanya.

"What was that?" bungad sakin ni Yuri nang makapasok kami sa kotse.

"Anong what?" tanong ko naman habang linalagay ang seatbelt.

Ginaya niya rin ako at nagsalita muli, "You know her?" tanong niya pa, clearly invested on what happened.

"N-No," tipid na sagot ko.

"You stuttered. You're lying, Maurice," huli ako pero 'di magpapakulong.

I sighed, massaging my temple, "Yuri, hindi. I thought I just know her, okay?"

She curiously eyed me up and down, "Totoo?" paninigurado nito.

"Mhm," sagot ko na may kasamang tango habang pinapatakbo na ang kotse.

Naku! Papatayin ako neto pag nalaman niya.

"So, itong Iris ba ay nakilala mo sa bar,"

"Apparently, yeah," I replied while my eyes focused on the road.

"Waow, susyal niya ah pinahatid mo pa pauwi," natatawa niyang sambit.

Yeah, Blair aka Iris is indelible indeed.

"Yup, she definitely caught my eye,"

"That's new, thought you have your ultimate rules,"

Natawa nalang ako.
