"Eat this mam," Stella said giving her a tray full of different kinds of fruits. Rose frowned at the hospitality of the woman. It's been two days of that incident in that office and her blacking out.

When she woke up Stella was beside her and informed Rose about Rafael going out of the city for some business work. Rose neither was relieved nor sad. She simply didn't care.

She knew Rafael will question her why did she had fainted? And she has no answer to his question. After his departure, Stella told her about all the duties that were reserved for her by Rafael.

It wasn't much. She has to manage his every work. She has to prepare breakfast, his office attire every morning and also she needs to prepare his dinner and the only work that bothered was she has to take his lunch to his office every day. She was confused and annoyed as well.

She can simply prepare his lunch and send it through the driver but no Stella told her that she has to go there to give it to him personally. Maybe he just wants her to keep on working and have no rest and that was something she also wants.

Whenever she averts her attention from work all those painful memories strike her mind hard. And she doesn't want to remember them anymore.

Placing the cleaned suits of his on the bed she started folding them instead of hanging them in the cupboard. She had no idea what chaos her small mistake will bring for her.

She placed the folded clothes in the cupboard and hung the coats in the wardrobe before cleaning his room. She has to admit his room was the widest and scariest one in the mansion.

The room was painted black and the furniture was grey in color. While cleaning the dressing table her eyes fell on her reflection. She tilted her head to the side taking her condition in check.

This wasn't the girl she used to be. The girl full of life how did she turn into such a lifeless soul? Her eyes met hers through the mirror making her gulp down.

These eyes are responsible for captivating me. You forced me to become the monster I am today.

She blinked rapidly turning around and walking out of the room. She sighed heavily before continuing her work.

Days turned to weeks and weeks into a month. It has been a month since Rafael went to another city for his work and today he was coming back. But Rose wasn't aware of it.

She was walking towards the kitchen when her eyes fell on the wallet laying on the floor. She grabbed it and looked around only to find the boy who looked the same as her age peeking around. He seems like he was finding something.

"Hey!" Rose said raising her voice a little. The boy flinched a little looking up.

"Is this yours?" She asked showing him the wallet and a relieved sigh left his lips. He strolled towards and grabbed the wallet.

"Thank you so much I was finding this. I thought I dropped it outside." Rose nodded her head with a poker face.

" Where is your mother? I haven't seen her from the morning." Yes, this boy named Jay was the one and only son of Stella. Stella is a single mother.

She got pregnant with her high school boyfriend. They both got married at a young age and didn't even complete their studies. After a few years, Stella's husband found another girl and left them.

Stella talks a lot even though she hardly gets any reply from Rose but still, she keeps on talking and asking Rose if she's annoyed by her she can tell her she will shut up. But Rose never said anything to her she listens to her and never complains about her being annoying.
