This is War

The day of the full moon arrived and everyone was told to go to the park because that was the best place to see the full moon. The last to leave were Sonic and friends. Tails stayed behind to make sure the plan was still in order.

“Leave it to you Tails” said Sonic while giving his little buddy a thumbs up. Tails gave the thumbs up back with a smile. 

Sonic and the rest of the gang walked to the park to meet up with everyone else. The sun was just going down and everyone was wondering what was going on. 

The chief of police spoke up in a microphone and told the story, what happened a few days ago and they wanted to know who the helpers were. It was just starting to get dark over station square now. Sonic and Shadow were sitting in a tree waiting for the full moon, which never came! 

The chief was very confused. “What where’s the full moon?”

“Good old Tails.” Sonic looked out in the sky and saw that Tails had put up the shield to stop the moon from coming in. Sonic and Shadow high 5 each other and then jumped down from the tree. 

“Looks like you’ve muddled up the days chief” said Shadow. “But, but” was all the chief could say. Everyone started to walk to the park gates looking very annoyed. But something stopped them at the foot of the gate. There was a blood thirsty werewolf blocking the way out. Everyone screamed and ran the other way. 

But as they ran like 30 werewolves jumped out the bushes trapping them all. “Oh no! What are we going to do Sonic?” Shadow asked looking round. “I don’t know Shadow!” Sonic saw people getting attacked and people getting hurt. Sonic looked at his friends, they were all surrounded. He ran towards them, Shadow followed. 

“Leave them alone” Sonic shouted. The wolves looked around and then ran to the two hedgehogs. Sonic started to growl not giving a care what the people were thinking or saying. “Sonic people are watching” said Shadow. 

All the werewolves surrounded Sonic and Shadow. “Leave these people alone” Sonic snarled. Sonic and Shadow were now back to back looking at all the werewolves. While they were looking, a werewolf bigger than the others walked forward. “I’m guess you’re the leader” said Shadow more calmly then Sonic. The wolf nodded.  

All eyes were on Sonic and Shadow now. “What’s wrong with Sonic?” People whispered. Shadow looked at the force field. It was starting to go out. “Oh no! He whispered. S-sonic?” “What!” Sonic growled showing his sharp razor teeth. “Look the shield.” They both looked to see the shield was nearly out. They both started to fill the pain again. They both fell to the ground clutching their stomachs. 

The alpha just smiled. "Come on let the animal out, don’t holed it back." "W-why should we l-listen to you" Shadow said struggling to speak. "Because one day you’ll kill your friends and they won’t be able to defend themselves. So why not make them one of us" said the alpha walking away. "What!" both hedgehogs shouted.  

The alpha walked up to Tails who came while the chief was talking and the others, who were trying not to look scared. "LEAVE THEM ALONE!"  Sonic shouted trying to get up. All the alpha did was smile. "What are you going to do about it, in a few minutes you two will be out of control anyway? So there’s nothing you can do to stop us." 

The alpha opened its jaw ready to bite Tails. Tails was really trying not to look scared now, but it wasn’t easy. He was even shaking a bit. This made Sonic really angry now that he couldn’t hold back. AAAAARRRRRRWWWWOOOOO! The wolf was back but he didn’t go for any of his friends, he went straight for the alpha. Who looked round and just saw Sonic before he punched him into the ground. The wolf howled out in pain. But he then pushed Sonic off of him.
