Jazz hands

A few days passed. Julieta saw the girl more frequently.

"Hi!" The girl said, trying to be friends with julieta.
"Oh, hello" she responded.
"You're julieta, right? Im sofia" she smiled warmly at julieta.
"Nice to meet you, sofia"

After a while, sofia quickly introduced herself to pepa and bruno.

"Hey, julieta..." pepa whispered to her.
"Hm?" Julieta hummed.
"You know that sofia girl, right?" Pepa said.
"Oh yea. She seems..." julieta answered.
"Off" "Nice" they say at the same time.

They looked at each other with a confused face.

"What do you mean 'nice'? She's annoying"
"She's nice. Pepa, dont judge her too quickly. We just met her"

They looked at sofia who was looking at the flowers. They made eye contact. She waved to them and made a smile. Julieta waved back and pepa just stood there feeling uncomfortable.

"Isn't she the girl that was all over agustin?"
"Pepa, she's just his friend"

Pepa let out a sigh.
"Im warning you, julieta. That girl is extraña"
"Dont say that"

Pepa walked away doing jazz hands to julieta.
"Extraña"
She laughed at pepa's actions.
"You're the weird one, pepa"

"Be careful around her, sis" pepa whispered.
"Yea, yea" julieta said as she rolled her eyes.

She went back to her work, giving food to the injured.

"Hi, julieta!"
"Hello, sofia"
"I was wondering if you could help me choose a dress. Mi mama is busy today and i figured that you could help me" she smiled and held julieta's hands.

"Uhh- sofia, im kinda busy today, so maybe next time?"
Sofia put on puppy eyes, trying to convince her to come with.
She let out a sigh.
"Fine, let me just tell pepa and bruno to take over"
"Okay!"

She walked away, and went to pepa and bruno.

"Pepa, can you and bruno take over the stall? People are still in line and i need to go with someone"
"Where are you going?" Bruno asked.
Pepa looked over julieta's shoulder and saw sofia waiting.

"Are you going with that sofia girl?"
"How did you know?"
"She's right behind you"

Julieta turned around to see sofia smiling behind her. She got surprised and jumped a little.

"So are you coming or not?" She said eagerly.
"Mhmm" julieta looked at sofia then back to pepa.
"Take care of the stall, pepa. Ask bruno for help if you get tired"
"Sure" pepa put on a fake smile so that sofia wont get uncomfortable.

They waved each other goodbye and a cloud began to form above pepa's head.

Bruno saw her and got worried.

"Pepa? Did something happen?"
"Sofia happened"

He looked confused. Sofia was fine with him.

"Okay, lets calm down a bit. You're thundering"
"She took julieta with her"

"She's gonna be fine, pepa"
Pepa let out a sigh and tried to relax.
"I know she will"

"Come on, people are still in line"

"So what kind of dresses do you usually wear, sofia?"
"I usually wear the pink ones, but im willing to try anything new" she grinned and pulled julieta's hand when they arrived at a clothes store.

"What do you usually wear, julieta?" Sofia asked.
"Uhh" she looked down at what she was wearing.
"Mostly a teal skirt and a light blue shirt" she looked at sofia and she nodded.

They started to look around, trying to find a dress for sofia.

"What do you think of this, julieta?"

She turned around to see sofia holding a teal dress.

"That looks cute" julieta said.

"You think so?" Sofia replied.

"Mhmm" she nodded in approval.
