Chapter 3

"Should we walk around? I have great news to share with you" I smiled warmly at Itto, he nodded and we started walking

"Okay what I wanted to tell you was I became Kamisato Ayaka's lady-in-waiting. I know you don't really care but I just want to share the news with you" I smiled warmly at him

"Lady Ayaka's lady-in-waiting? That's so great (Y/n)! Although, whats so special about being her lady-in-waiting?" Itto asked genuinely

"Well, being a noble's lady-in-waiting is an honourable role, especially since Inazuma has only a few nobles" I said to him

"Anyways, I'm hungry should we head over to the Komore Teahouse?" I asked Itto, "my treat, of course" I continued

"Woah (y/n) for a second there you sound like the blondie at the Kamisato estate" Itto gasped

"You mean Thoma?" I asked

"Yeah, him, I think.." Itto said with a confused tone

By the time we arrived at Komore Teahouse, we were greeted with Taroumaru who was as cute as ever we ate happily and paid and by the time we were done it was already late evening

"Itto, I think I should get going, I can't stay out for long, but we will meet again soon. If I'm not busy of course" I said while looking at his tall figure

"See ya Y/n, thanks for the meal tho" Itto winked at me and walked away

I started walking to the Kamisato estate while thinking about tomorrow

Tomorrow, the day I will officially become Lady Ayaka's lady-in-waiting

Im so nervous but so excited, I thought to myself while smiling

"What are you smiling so brightly about?" the person beside me asked

"Thoma!!" I hugged him and he returned the hug back, I've always seen Thoma as a big brother figure despite us being the same age so I didn't mind hugging him so casually

"Oh yes, I didn't tell you that I became Lady Ayaka's lady-in-waiting, right?" I asked him

"Oh, you became the Lady's lady-in-waiting? Y/n that's amazing!" he cheered for me

"I'll officially become Lady Kamisato's one and only lady-in-waiting starting tomorrow" I bragged to Thoma about my title

"You're as cute as ever, Y/n" Thoma said

"What?" I asked, though I did hear what he said, I couldn't believe my ears

"Nothing, I just said congrats" Thoma said awkwardly

"Oh okay, hey look we arrived at the estate, see you tomorrow Thoma" I waved at him and he waved back at me
