Chapter 11

"Ayato.. we have known each other for years. Are you really going to throw it all out? For that girl you picked up on the streets?" I said as tears stream down my face

Ayato's face visibly soften and peeked his head out of the room to check if anybody is in the hallway and pulled me inside his room and quickly shut the door

Ayato quickly hugged me and rubbed my back and said

"My love, I'm sorry for treating you like that, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I was just jealous of how close you and Thoma is and I wanted to distant myself from you to spy on Chiyo and her behavior, I would never abandon you and the years we've spent together my darling" regretfully

"If I knew this would happen, I would've informed you sooner, Im sorry my dove, I didn't mean it" he said while cupping my face and giving me a forehead kiss while wiping my tears away with his thumb

I wouldn't say Im dumb for not knowing this, rather, it's his fault for not telling me beforehand but I felt relief hearing those words coming out from his mouth

"I.. understand... I guess it was just my misunderstanding" I sighed

"No, it was my fault that you misunderstood but now Im going to explain my plan in details" Ayato said while releasing my face from his embrace

He explained how he wanted Chiyo to be his personal assistant to spy on her because he saw the mischief in her eyes when he picked her up from the streets

I wasn't surprised about it since he love to observe every single employee he employs

Even I was observed by him

He knows that Chiyo have a plan to do something to the Kamisato Estate so hes waiting for the right time to strike

He told me that we should keep distance from now on until Chiyo decides to pull a move on either him or Lady Ayaka or maybe even me

He said that I should watch out for myself and Lady Ayaka and he didn't want any of us two to get hurt

I agreed and hugged him one last time knowing I can't visit him when the sun sets from now on

Well, not until Chiyo is gone of course

I walked out of his room quietly and head to my room to end the day

A few days has gone by and Chiyo looked happier than the day she became Ayato's personal assistant

She sucks at it.

All she does is cling onto Ayato and do the bare minimum when it comes to work

I didn't want to tarnish Lady Ayaka's reputation by doing something stupid so I kept quiet about it

Days turns into weeks, and finally, the day Chiyo starts her malicious actions begun

I saw Chiyo accidentally staining Ayato's favorite white robe and she noticed that I saw her doing so

"WHAT THE HELL, Y/N?!" she screamed

I looked at her, confused, "what?"

Her yelling attracted attention from all the people inside the manor including Ayato, Lady Ayaka and Thoma

Chiyo saw Lord Ayato and teared up while running to him

"My lord, Y/n stained your favorite robe, punish her this instant!" Chiyo huffed

Ayato glared at Chiyo.

"Who are you to tell me what I should do?" Ayato questioned her

Chiyo was dumbfounded and started stuttering

"Shut up, no one orders the Lord around" Thoma sighed

Ayato agreed with Thoma and said "Y/n, don't worry about the robe, I can always order another one" to me softly and walked away

Chiyo looked mad and running away

The more I look at it, her running is similar to a baby duck

But in this case, she's a baby dick

Thoma asked me to go on a walk with him and I agreed because I needed the stress relief

*Chiyo's pov*

Everything was going so well, when Ayato miraculously asked me to be his assistant I was over the moon

But I know, he's still into that bitch

The one whos spending the night with Ayato everyday should've been me.

I was so heartbroken when I heard moans coming from Y/n's room

I know it's not visible to other people, but I know it's my lovely Ayato

Ayato should've been with me, not that dirty old commoner

Now that hes backing her up and not paying attention to me anymore

There's only one way

only one way to get Ayato to give me attention just like the old days, the day he first met me

get rid of Y/n.
