I sighed and rubbed my forehead and headed out to go meet my friend, Yoimiya

At first, I wanted to cook her special dish but I didn't know the recipe for it so I just made a normal dango for both Yoimiya and I

While cooking dango for Yoimiya, I thought about making Thoma his favorite miso soup too so I made a mental reminder for it

After finishing the dango, I quickly walked over to Naganohara Fireworks to meet Yoimiya

"Y/n! It's nice to see you again!" She grinned at me, usual Yoimiya, cute as ever

"Hello yoimiya, I made dango for us two" I said while handing them to her

"Great! Should we head over to Amakane Island to eat these?" she asked

"Sure, I haven't been there for so long" I said

We headed to Amakane Island and ate dango there and shared conversations with each other

"So.. Y/n.. Do you have a boyfriend? Or a crush on someone? Not that Im interested of course, just.. curious.." Yoimiya blurted out

I giggled at her behaviour and shook my head, "what made you so curious?" I asked

"Nothing.. just.. you're very cute and all so its impossible for you to not have a partner" Yoimiya said, oh only if she knew

"I guess I haven't find the right one yet, but what about you?" I asked back

"Oh.. I do have a crush on someone.." Yoimiya said quietly

"Who? Do spill"

"Nobody! Anyways, congrats on being Lady Ayaka's lady-in-waiting!" Yoimiya changed the topic

"Thanks but who told you?" I let Yoimiya slide with the sudden change of topic

"Well, Thoma told me. He bragged about it so hard as if he's the one who got the job" Yoimiya rolled her eyes

I giggled then said "Yoimiya, I have to go now, Im pretty tired today" tiredly

"Okay y/n, stay safe and have a good rest" Yoimiya kissed me on the cheek, I honestly see that as a friendly action

The moment I stepped into my dorm I laid on my bed and dozed off, completely forgetting to make Thoma's miso soup

I woke up due to an expensive, similar cologne smell

"Ayato?" my groggy voice said

"Shh, sleep, my love. Let me take care of you while you're sleeping" Ayato kissed my forehead and laid down beside me

"Ir's cramped here Ayato, don't force yourself to lay down beside me" I said while hugging his muscular figure, silently loving that hes laying beside me

"It's okay dove, I like it here, beside my lover, my future wife, in fact, I love being like this, with you" Ayato confessed

I blushed at the future wife but

I know my place.

Im just a mere maid who got lucky to be noticed by one of the wealthiest man in Inazuma

He just happened to take interest in me due to my hardwork and looks

What if he meets someone way more cuter and hardworking?

Would he still keep being my lover?

After all, all of these might be temporary and can disappear any moment

All of these, can be taken away from me with a single snap from Kamisato Ayato

All those thoughts clouded my head until I heard Ayato's voice

"Y/n? Are you okay? Why are you so silent? Did.. I say something wrong?"

"No, it's nothing like that, there's nothing wrong it's just my mind was clouded with some stuff" I sighed and hid my face on his chest

"Y/n.. I love you, I love you so much I'd do anything for you, my little dove" he whispered lovingly

I nodded and dozed off while a tear was running down my face, thinking about how I don't deserve him and his love
