"Ayato, can I ask you something?" I asked

"Sure dove, what's wrong?" Ayato asked

I pushed his shoulders a bit so I can face him

"Why did you employ Chiyo?" I asked

"No reason, I'm just helping someone that needs it, of course, they need to do something for me too" Ayato claimed

"Ayato.. it's not that I dont trust you with your knowledge, it's just.. I have a bad feeling about Chiyo. Even Thoma feels the same" I said while looking at him

Ayato's expression suddenly changed into anger and sit up

"Thoma this, Thoma that. Why do you keep bringing him up?" Ayato sternly said but not too loud, afraid people outside could hear

Now it's my turn to sit up, "Ayato, it's not about bringing Thoma up, it's about that employee of yours being suspicious" I said with furrowed brows

"Whatever Y/n, I'm gonna leave" Ayato said while getting up to get dressed

"Wait, Ayato-" I tried to explain but it was too late since Ayato already slammed my bedroom door

Whats with people slamming the door on me?

But anyways, I know I have upset Ayato

He even called by my name and not some nicknames he usually calls me in private

I sighed and buried my face into my hands

Fuck, what am I supposed to do now?

I got up and get dressed to meet Itto at the city, today is my day off afterall

I arrived at the city to see Itto but he's currently with someone else

I cancelled my whole plan on meeting Itto and took a stroll to Ritou

There, I saw Thoma and a girl with a weird outfit and a flying baby?

I ran up to him and greeted Thoma

"Hello Thoma, who's this girl? And the.. baby that's flying.." I look at them weirdly

"Paimon is not a flying baby!" the baby squealed

"Oh the baby talks" I gasped

"Paimon is not a flying baby, she's an emergency food" the girl said, her voice is absolutely beautiful

"Hey!! Paimon is not an emergency food!!" the baby shouted at the girl

"Ah, Y/n this is Lumine and her companion, Paimon" Thoma introduced them to me

"Oh, well hello my name is Y/n, sorry for calling you a flying baby, Paimon and Lumine you're absolutely gorgeous, where are you from?" I said, and asked

"It's a long story, I can't tell someone that easily" Lumine said

"Oh that's alright" I smiled at her warmly

"Oh right, Y/n, Traveller here is actually have an appointment with Lady Ayaka, can you bring her to the estate? I have some business with Captain Beidou over there" Thoma said while he pointed over to the hot pirate

I nodded and asked Lumine to follow me

HELLO AUTHOR HERE SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER BUT TO MAKE IT UP HAVE A BONUS SCENE (its not related to the main story nor it would affect it)

Y/n grumbled while nailing the opened door to the wall

"Im so fucking sick of people slamming the fucking door on me" she said while nailing Chiyo's door

"And that's the last door, great, no more privacy for all of you fuckers, who told yall to slam the door on me" she scoffed in annoyance and walked away from Chiyo's door
