Gayle Lovegrove is starting over. The wayward waitress has given up her high-profile life and sure-fire future to become a waitress in a small town far away.
So what happens when she finds a naked man in her apartment, claiming he knows her from another life?
I'll tell you what; long, lingering dances in the dark, strange encounters and hard hitting cases to find out why she keeps having weird dreams about creepy dark creatures, flying men and a best friend she never knew.

Overall thought:
Welcome, welcome to my last read before my semester starts (Uni sucks). And what a read to end my holiday break, indeed.
Taming Apollo is a spin-off/sequel to the first book titled "His God Complex". Now, I guess you're about to ask, "Ahleks, can this be read as a standalone?". The answer is: "why the fck not?" No, really, it can be read as a standalone...because that's what I did.
I've always been a sucker for all things Greek Mythology, as well as its retellings, so imagine my satisfaction when I've come across this underrated gem. So underrated, I'd pay people to read it. Heck, I'd give this a Watty Award if I could. (Am I overacting again? hmm, I'm not sure.)
If you want a good ratio of romance and adventure in one book, then this got you covered.
I honestly don't know what else to say, this was such a quality read. I was not surprised when I've learned that the author was a Greek Mytho avid fan because it reflected upon her work.
Anyway, READ IT, SHARE IT, FOLLOW THE AUTHOR, READ HER OTHER WORKS, BRING IN THE VIEWS. (YES, I DONT CARE IF IM BEING TOO FORCEFUL.)
