JAYDENS POV

After school me and Rue were going to go back to my house and chill. But Rue wanted to go see Fez and get some drugs. So obviously I was down. Even though it was raining we still walked to Fez's

When we get there. Rue starts knocking on the door

"Hey! Open the door!"

She yells, I just stand back waiting for Rue to stop yelling

I see the door start to open and Ashtray walks out

"Yo, what do you guys want?"

Ashtray asks, he looks kinda stressed

"Who is it?"

I hear Fez yell from inside.

"Rue and Jayden"

Ashtray yells back at Fez. Me and Rue still standing outside in the rain

"No bro! Tell her to come back later man!"

Fez yells from inside

"To late bitch"

Rue says grabbing my hand and walking inside, pulling me behind her

"Hold on. You can't be here right now man"

Fez says

"All I need is some OCs and some socks"

Rue says, walking further into the room.

"Nah man come on, I ain't fucking playing bro y'all can't be here right now"

I look over at Ashtray, then grab Rues arm

"Come on, let's just go bro"

I say, rue looks at me angrily. Then shakes her arm out of my grip.

"Look fez, I'm fucking drenched ok? And I'm out of drugs so, don't be a dick"

Rue says as she sits down on the couch.

"Oh my god Rue, that's not my problem. But you gotta get out of my house before these mother fuckers come through!"

"All I need is a couple OCs and some xannies. Then I'll be gone"

"Rue says, pulling me and making me sit on the couch next to her.

"Yo im trying to tell you, I don't got shit right now! Coke back in like a few hours, I got what ever you need. But right now you need to get the fuck out of my house"

Fez says, getting angry. Ashtray already left the room.

"I know you got something Fez"

"Nah man, i ain't got shit rue. I need you to get out right now, my guys about to come through and I don't want you to be here when he does"

Fez says pointing at the door

"Come on"

I say standing up of the couch. Just as I do, I hear ashtray yell

"Yo! He's here!"

"Shit!"

Fez says pushing me back down on the couch next to Rue

"Y'all just sit here and don't fucking say anything"

Fez says. He puts a gun between the cushions on the couch

"What the fuck"

I mouth at Rue as she just looks at me with big eyes

"I'm allgoods with drugs until guns start coming out"

Rue whispers to me. I can tell she is freaking out. So am I.

Mouse walks into the room with Ashtray and Fez. He sits down next to me and says

"So these Yo little bitches?"

"Nah bruh, they my little sisters"

Fez answer, sitting down on the couch across from us.

"We'll hello there little sis"

He says putting his hand out for me to shake.

"My name is mouse. It's a pleasure to meet you"

I shake mouses hand back. Quickly looking over at Fez and Ashtray, they both look on edge.

"Yo Custer. Toss me that bag"

Mouse says to the other man he came in with

"Yo, check it out"

Mouse says taking all the drugs out of his bag

"I got 100 OP- OC 80s, 500 Xanny bars, 500 20s of Addy, I'm low on vikes, so if you want some of those you better get 'em now. And uh, I also got an ounce of Molly. Custer what's the math on that?"

Mouse asks.

"Uh 25, 15 and 1,100, 35, 77 and 25... um, 7,750"

Fez hands over the money.

"You sure you don't want any fentanyl?"

Mouse asks

"Nah man, I'm cool off that shit. Too many OD and I don't want the heat"

Fez says

"How about either of you too? Y'all ever tried fentanyl?"

Mouse says. Looking at m me and and Rue

"Nah man, there good"

Fez says defensively

"Gonna let big brother talk for y'all?"

Mouse says, putting his hand on my thigh. I flinch a bit but he doesn't notice

"I don't know"

Rue says quietly, we both looking over at a stressed Fez

"Don't look at him, look at me. Y'all wanna try it?"

Mouse says, as he starts rubbing my thigh

"For real man, I don't want them fucking with that shit. She's only 14"

Fez says, pointing at me. Mouse takes his hand off my thigh and looks at Rue

"What about the other one?"

"I'm um, actually good"

"You know that feeling, when you come so hard. You can't hear, or feel anything?"

"Yeah"

Rue answers quietly

"You like that feeling?"

"Yeah"

Then before I know it. Rue opens her mouth and Mouse puts the fentanyl on her tongue.

Dear god, I know I've been a bitch for like, a lot of my life. And I was mean to like my family. And I am so so so sorry but please, don't let me die tonight

I watch as rue falls over on the couch. I start feeling like I'm going to cry. Rues head lands on my thigh. Mouse stands up and walks over to the other side of the couch we're Rues feet are. He picks up her feet and puts them on his lap, then starts holding her thigh. All of a sudden, all my fear turns into anger as I see Mouse touch Rues thigh.

I stand up and walk away before I punch him in the face.

"I'm so happy right now"

I hear Rue whisper as I was walking away.
