I say quietly looking down at my feet sitting in the back of Fez's car. Rue and Fez in the front
"It's fine. Just call me next time you wanna fall asleep in someone's backyard"
Rue says
"What!?"
I say shocked. I thought that was a park not someone's fucking backyard!
"That was someone's fucking backyard!?"
I yell at Fez and Rue. They both laugh.
After Rue gave me a whole talk about how I'm pretty much her little sister and that I should stop doing drugs and shit, she invited me to stay over at hers since she knew I really didn't want to go home.
I haven't talked to my parents or Aaron for over 2 weeks, it I do talk to Nate at school sometimes when he is hanging out with Maddy.
*THE NEXT DAY*
I woke up in Rues bed, I could feel her warm arm wrapped around my waist. I sit up and look at her. Seeing her face wet with sweat, I grab her shoulder and try shake her awake
"Rue"
I whisper
"Hey, are you ok?"
I whisper watching her screw up her face as she sits up
"Holy shit"
She says grabbing her stomach in pain
"Yo, you allgoods?"
I ask rubbing her lower back to try calm her
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine"
She says, laying back down in bed
"Are you sure?"
I ask concerned
"Yes Jayden I'm fucking fine"
She says impatiently. I could tell she wasn't ok.
"Ummm, okay Rue"
I say, standing up off and putting on one of Rues shirts and a pair of her shorts
