Chapter 6: Who is Bonnie?

6:56 a.m.

I put the note in my jacket pocket and quickly turned around only to see...Officer Vanessa?

Vanessa: Y/N? What are you doing here?

Y/N: Officer Vanessa, I uhmm... you see uhhh I... I-I was just exploring the place and I ended up here...

Vanessa: Oh, I see, did you meet the others?

Y/N: You mean... the band?

Vanessa: Yes, did you meet them?

Y/N: Yeah, I met Roxanne, Monty, Chica and Hippo but... I have a question...

Vanessa: I'm all ears

Y/N: They mention something about an "accident" last week and I wanted to know if you know anything about it

Vanessa seemed confused when I said that.

Vanessa: An... accident? I don't know what you're talking about...

Y/N: Oh, okay...

I was about to ask her about this "Bonnie" guy but... I realized something.

Y/N: Wait... what are you doing here Officer Vanessa... if you don't mind me asking

Vanessa: Me? The thing is, I received an alert from some parents because they couldn't find their son. I've been looking for him everywhere but I still can't find him

Y/N: You mean Spencer?

Vanessa looked at me surprised when I said that name.

Vanessa: Spencer? Wait, did you see him?

Y/N: Yeah I... took him to Daycare to have fun while looking for his parents...

Vanessa: That's perfect, good job Y/N, I'll go find his parents to tell them everything

Officer Vanessa said as she turned around and started walking towards the exit of the auditorium... but... I still wanted to know something else.

Y/N: Wait officer Vanessa, I have another question to ask you...

Vanessa: Not now Y/N, save it for later

Y/N: I read that something happened to some kids

Officer Vanessa immediately stopped and slowly began to turn around.

Vanessa: What did you just say?

She said with a serious tone.

Y/N: I... found a customer complaint and I read that, it was about something happening to some kids and... I wanted to know if you-

Vanessa: What customer complaint?

Vanessa said interrupting me.

I took the customer complaint out of my jacket pocket and handed it to her.

She snatched it out of my hands and started reading the note with a frown.

Vanessa: Where did you find this?

Y/N: I found it in a bag near the main stage

Vanessa: This is an old complaint, it was written by a customer who was out of his mind, you don't have to worry

She said as she crumpled up the note and tossed it into a nearby trash can.

Vanessa: Tell me Y/N, did you find anything else?

I knew that if I told her about the other notes, she would do the same thing she did with the first one, so I lied to her.

Y/N: No, I... I didn't find anything else, I found a flashlight and a bot gave me a map but I only have those two things...

I said while showing her those two things.

Vanessa: Good, that flashlight and the map will help you a lot, if you run out of battery, you can recharge the flashlight at the charging stations that are scattered throughout the Pizzaplex

Y/N: Okay...

Vanessa: Well, is that all you wanted to tell me or is there something else?

Y/N: No, that's all, thanks

On the one hand I wanted to know about that animatronic called "Bonnie" but on the other hand I didn't want to draw too much attention from officer Vanessa.

Vanessa: Well, if you'll excuse me, I'll go find the parents of that kid you mentioned

Vanessa said as she turned around and continued walking towards the exit.

When she finally left the auditorium, I took a deep breath due to the tension between the two of us.

Y/N: That... didn't turn out the way I thought it would and worst of all, I got more questions than answers

I said as I reread the note about that other animatronic.

As I read the note, I realized that the person who wrote it had mentioned Monty.

Y/N: Maybe Monty can tell me who "Bonnie" is, I'll talk to him when the show is over

I said as I walked towards the exit just like Officer Vanessa did.

Y/N: At least I'm calmer knowing that Spencer is safe and soon he will be reunited with his parents...

(Timeskip)

7:20 a.m.

I was waiting sitting outside the animatronic rooms while looking at the map and trying to remember the name of the different areas of the Pizzaplex.

Suddenly, the door to Monty's room opened and he walked out as he stretched out his arms.

Monty: Ugh, nothing better than taking a break after a great show like always

He said with a smile.

I got up from the seat and started walking towards him.

Y/N: Hey Monty!

Monty: Oh, hey Y/N, how's your first day going?

Y/N: It's going great, just like Hippo said, I'm getting used to it

Monty: It's good to hear that

Monty said while crossing his arms.

Monty: Anyway, did you want to talk to me or...

Y/N: Yeah, I wanted to ask you something

Monty: Sure, what is it?

Y/N: Who is Bonnie?

Monty: What!?

Monty answered between surprised and nervous.

Y/N: Who is Bonnie? I read in a note that he-

Monty: Uhmm, sorry Y/N... I-I have to... uhh I... have to adjust the strings on my guitar, I have to g-go

Monty said nervously as he went back to his room.

Y/N: But Monty I-

Monty: Bye Y/N!

Suddenly the door to Monty's room slammed shut and I could hear Monty lock the door.

Y/N: What... just happened?
