Starlight Billionaires Cancel Business Merger Post Breakup

While the news about Oliver Wilson and Anne Starling's broken engagement first surfaced around a week ago, there has been a new development in their story. The most celebrated Starlight billionaire couple left many hearts broken when they confirmed their broken engagement.

In a recent turn of events, they have now left many of their investors in panic as their personal life seems to have affected their business decisions as well. The keenly looked forward to business merger of Wilson Jewels and Closet Starlight — which was projected to dominate the wedding industry in Starlight and overseas — is no longer happening.

Sources have reported that it was Oliver Wilson (CEO of Wilson Jewels) who refused to sign the contract papers after Anne Starling, the daughter of Jonathon Starling (owner of Closet Starlight and a descendant of the founding fathers of the town they currently reside in — Starlight), reportedly cheated on him with an unknown man. Prima facie, the reason for cancelling the merger end-moment appears to be revenge, an attempt by Oliver Wilson to leave their relationship and Starlings' business in ruins.

The newspaper has reached out to both businesses and families for confirmation. A press release is expected to be issued within 3 business days, explaining why the merger was in neither company's best interests. Stakeholders are left bewildered and the same is expected to affect the stock price negatively for investors.
