February 14th,2022 (A flashback technically )
Putting the finishing touches on the gift basket I smiled feeling proud of myself. I made sure all the candles were lit and that her bath was hot with hella bubbles like how Essence likes them. Seeing the room was good I made my way down stairs to start setting up. I grabbed the first bin of rose petals then open the room door to start scattering the petals in a line going upstairs. Once they were placed how I wanted them I grabbed the second bin sprinkling them on the bed then placed them around the gifts. Next I poured champagne in two glasses then added a strawberry to each glass. Take the chocolate covered strawberries out the freezer setting them in between the glasses. Checking the time and Essie location I seen I still had time so I blew up some balloons. When everything was done to my liking I got comfortable on the couch scrolling on Instagram.
5 mins later I hear someone banging on my door like the police. I sat there for a min before I heard my name being yelled outside the door. I got up chuckling but I opened the door revealing my beautiful girlfriend
" Kira imma ask you one time what bitch you got up in here!" Essie said calmly tryin to push me out the way
Did I forget to mention I didn't tell her I was getting this room. I know she be checking my location so I know when she seen I was at a hotel she would've brought her ass that way my surprise was really a surprise.
" Girl ain't nobody in here ,chill out" I said chuckling which made her mad as fuck she instantly swung at me but since I knew she was goin to do that I dodged her hit
" Kilo fr stop playing in my face like I'm a dumb bitch bro!" She said finally pushing me in the room
" Man it's no bitch here" I said sitting on the couch
" oh you got this hoe my favorite champagne? And some mf strawberries.." she started to say then finished mumbling
" You got rose petals all of this mf floor even in the damn hallway that's how yo bitch knew she come to this room huh?" She said standing over me
" Yea" I said simply I know it's not funny to do this to her on Valentine's Day but she does too much I can't never be nice to her either way she feels like I'm doing something wrong
" BITCH COME ON OUT I KNOW YOU IN HERE!" Essie began to search through the closet,bathroom and finally she went upstairs. Following her up there she just stood there with her hands over her mouth and tears in her eyes
" Happy valentines Peaches" I said coming up hugging her from behind
" That's my name.." she said pointing at the banner that wrote " My lady Peaches"
She turned around hugging me then kissing me all over my face making me laugh
" You can open your gifts after your bath and I'm taking you out to eat so hurry up" I said shooin her to the bathroom
