Chapter 9: The Door Bell Rings

"Umm... Sure." I say not really knowing if it's the right decision.

We both just look at each other, but then feel awkward and insecure so we go to different sides of the couch.

I look over my shoulder and see him looking too. We both turn around quickly.

I turn back around and break the silence.

"Why are things so awkward no-" I can barely say before I find Kian's lips on mine.

I kiss back and he bites my lower lip, causing me to open my mouth and interrupt our make out session.

"Oww! What was that for?" I say looking at him in the eye.

"Cuz u got a little something right there." he say before continuing our make out session.

Just as we start getting into it, I hear the door bell ring. I ignore it and continue my... business.

I keep hearing it so I finally get up and go to the door. I open the door and find its someone I recognize.

"Emily?" I ask in disgust.

"Hi, ooh who's this hottie?" She says going to the couch and starts rubbing up on him.

"MY BOYFRIEND." I say sternly.

She must be freakin deaf not to hear that.

"Okay if you keep doing this crazy shit imma have to ask u to leave." I say crossing my arms.

"Okay, sorry, sorry." she says apologetically with her hands up in surrender.

"Thank you." I say sitting next to Kian.

Emily has never been really close to me, only when something's up.

"What happened now?" I asked Emily in a rude tone.

"I just came by to visit my best friend." she says hugging me.

I push her off of me and give her the stink eye. She must've gotten the memo because then she stopped with her shanagans and got to the point.

"Okay, fine. This guy... Dominic keeps asking for you. He said he needs to talk to you." she says suspiciously.

"No thanks." I say looking at Kian.

"Okay. I hope I'm not interrupting anything." she says before standing up.

"You kinda were." I say back rudely.

I'm about to go sit down again, when the door bell rings again.

"Ugh! Who can that be?" I say frustrated.
