If someone asked Caitlyn what she liked in a romantic partner, she'd at first wonder why they were so interested in her romantic preferences of all things. After that, she'd simply tell them it was the little things.
Vi's small touches, words and other actions. Her little displays of love in the form of physical contact especially.
Vi's touch was indescribable. It was better than anything Caitlyn ever felt.

She stared at her papers. And stared. And stared. And...
"What am I doing with my life...?" She muttered to no one in particular as she put her face in her hands. A headache was trying to take root, but she was not in the mood for it. Not when she still had so much left to do.
"Hey Cupcake." Vi's voice graced her ears.
She loved that sound. She loved Vi's voice in general actually.
"Hi..." the greeting in response was less than enthusiastic. Though she had been sitting here staring this work she had been slaving over for at least two or three hours as if it would write itself. When it didn't she used what remnants of energy she had left to...stare at it some more
"You sound tired." Vi commented as she sat beside her and stared at the papers on the desk. "You still working on this?"
Silence met her question.
"I'll be done in a moment." Caitlyn mumbled, picking up her pen to get back to writing.
Suddenly, she found herself out of her seat and in the pinkette's hold. "Take a break. You've been at it for hours."
"I guess I'll take just one moment away from my work." Caitlyn glanced back at her work and then found her lips on Vi's.
"Let yourself chill Cupcake." She took her by the hand to their bedroom and in that instant she felt lighter. That was one little thing that she liked about Vi.

The next thing she would say was the way she looked. Not in the physical appearance sense even though she was beautiful, but the way she looked with her eyes sense. Caitlyn noticed Vi's eyes on her at random points throughout most days. Sometimes she would ask her beloved what she was looking at.
"My Cupcake," would be her response every time. Sometimes it would come out in that classic Vi way she would always respond to some questions. Other times it would be soft, serious, and oh so loving.
The tone made Caitlyn's heart leap out of her chest. It was so mind boggling how Vi had this effect, yet at the same time the answer was so simple.
She loved her.

Another thing the Kiramman woman would say she liked would be Vi as a whole. Now if someone asked what she meant by that, she felt like she wouldn't have to explain it. The proof was there.
The woman laid with Vi in their queen sized bed. Caitlyn noticed Vi struggled to go to sleep. That happened most nights. Sometkmes it was the other way around where she struggled to sleep. Leaning forward, she kissed her head. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. Just thinking." Vi replied as she nuzzled into her pillow.
Caitlyn reached for her hand and held it. In response, Vi gripped it tight. It was just like that moment in her bed at her family's estate. Just the two of them.

Finally, there was how she fought. They had met under bizarre circumstances, with one behind bars and the other looking for information as to why she beat an inmate in their face among other questions. But, by some strange miracle she had gotten to know her. Her life turned upside down by enforcers. Topsiders.
Caitlyn believed truly the only way for them to face all they faced so far was for them to trust each other. In their own ways, they both learned from each other. Vi used her fists and Caitlyn used her eyes. Vi knew the Undercity like the back of her hand Caitlyn was realizing just how much her mother kept her from seeing the real world.
It was as if they were an odd dynamic duo. And she liked that. She liked it a lot.
***
Caitlyn stared at Vi as they were turning in for the night. Work was demanding as always so the two showered and went to bed.
"I love you." The blue haired woman mumbled tiredly.
"Love you too," Vi yawned as she held Caitlyn in her strong arms, her hands holding her in an embrace under the sheets and covers. Determined to keep her close, warm, and safe.
Another one of the many little things she loved about Violet.
