"Agnes come on we need to be there before they start checking for ID's" Kylie yelled

"I'm coming hold on" I put on my shoes and fixed my curls then ran down the stairs "Ky have you seen my- Oh hi Elizabeth" i said quietly "you're back"

"Yeah not for long, Arthur is expecting me at 9" Elizabeth sloppily walked in "where you off to?" She asked

"Ky's house" I lied "excuse me" I said quietly walking past her with my head down not wanting to make eye contact

"Don't be home late" she spoke as her alcoholic breath suffocated me, I nodded and walked out with Kylie

"Why is she back already? I thought she was going to stay at Arthur's house?" Ky asked

"She might be, I don't know" I shrugged "Got your oyster?" I asked and she nodded. We walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus, after a few minutes it finally came and we made our way to the Pound Pub, they usually had really good live music, good atmosphere and really good drinks, I usually go there when it's quite full because the securities don't really pay attention to who goes inside and don't bother to check ID. Even though Ky and I have our fake ID we still get scared in case they realise it's fake but soon I won't need a fake ID seeing as I will be 18 next year.

"What will you two ladies be having?" The bar tender asked

"I'll have a corona?" Ky asked

"And Bailey's for me" I smiled, I don't usually drink beer or Bailey's, I'm more into wine or Vodka or Whiskey but I thought I'd have something different. We payed for our drinks and sat down, it wasn't full tonight since the band playing wasn't that good but it was ok "Do you know that guy?" I asked Kylie

She turned to the guy at the other side of the room who kept looking over "never seen him in my life" she shrugged, we spoke for a bit and finished our drinks. After a few minutes the guy started making his way towards us "uh oh"

"Hey ladies, I apologise for staring I was honestly just day dreaming I guess I didn't realise where I was looking at" he spoke sweetly

"It's not problem" I smiled hoping he would just go away now

"I'm Adam" he stayed

"I'm Agnes and this is my friend Kylie" I slightly kicked her leg under the table so she would at least smile at him

"Hey, sorry but we need to get going" we both stood up

"No worries well it was lovely meeting you ladies" he smiled before walking off. Kylie and I walked out of the pub, it was a boring night there anyway so I don't mind. I dropped her off at the bus stop and walked to the other side of the road and waited for my bus.

Once I got home the front door was slightly open "Elizabeth?" I yelled as i walked inside then shut the door behind me. I walked into the kitchen where Elizabeth sat there drinking, what looked like, her second bottle of wine "I thought you were meeting Arthur?" I angrily grabbed the bottle from her and put it in the bin

"Iwasbut... Iwas... heleft busy" she moaned, I rolled my eyes and dragged her to the couch

"Sleep or something while I shower" I went to my room and took off my jacket and earrings, I tied my long wavy hair in a high ponytail and went to grab my towel before I heard a door slam downstairs "Elizabeth?" I called out... Nothing... I ran downstairs and looked around the house, she wasn't inside so I ran out the door and called her name, again, and again and again but she never answered.
I ran inside and grabbed a cardigan and my phone then called Kylie "She's gone! I can't find her anywhere" I nervously spoke on the phone

"She couldn't have gone far ok? I'm coming" and with that she hung up. I walked around the block twice searching for her until I bumped into Kylie "have you tried calling her?"

"Yes like 3 times already" I took my phone out and tried calling her again "Elizabeth? Where the hell are you?" I asked as soon as she picked up

"In front of a grey lion" she laughed

"What?" I asked confused

"He's not moving though, he's just still and he's big and rock hard" I heard loud knocks

"A statue" Kylie snapped "she's in front of the lion statue by the museum"

"Ok we're coming to get you don't move!" I hung up and ran down the street. Once we reached the statue Elizabeth was sitting there staring into the sky "You alright?" I asked and she just nodded "let's get a cab home" I lifted her up and Kylie called a cab. We stood by the statue waiting for the cab as I heard guitar strums and drums "hold on" I told both of them and walked around the corner, I looked at my phone '11.10pm' , there was two guys sitting on the ground, one playing drums and the other one wearing a red and green hat while playing guitar and singing

"And all we seem to do it talk about sex
She's got a boyfriend anyway

He's got a funny face but I like that because he still looks cool

Now we are on the bed in my room
And I'm about to fill his shoes

I smiled and slowly moved my head to the sound of his voice, it was raspy yet soothing, I looked at him slightly amazed at how a complete stranger made me get butterflies by simply singing, I got my phone out and took a picture just to remember his smile seeing as I probably won't see him again

"And now we're just outside of town

She's got a boyfriend anyway

The boy looked at me and smiled sweetly as he carried on singing yet he wouldn't take his eyes off me, I smiled back at him and instantly felt butterflies dancing in my belly "Agnes!!" I jumped and turned away "cab's here lets go" Kylie grabbed my hand and began dragging me away, I turned to have one last look at the boy who was already looking at me and gave me a sad smile.

We arrived back home and Elizabeth fell straight asleep, we locked the doors and Kylie stayed in the guest room, I laid down in bed still thinking about the catchy tune of the song I heard tonight, I closed my eyes and thought about the boy, there was something about him, his eyes, his gaze, his voice, there was something that made me want to get to know him, but I'll probably never see him again.
After a few minutes I still couldn't sleep so I went to Kylie's room "Ky wake up" she slowly opened her eyes and rolled them and she slightly pushed me off the bed "let's go get drunk!!" I said in a singing voice, she smiled devilish and we started getting ready then made our way to the Pound Pub again "let's forget the world!!"

okay this is like my 4th fan fiction I don't even know lmao
But I literally wanted to do this one for quite a while now and I'm so excited for it there's so much to write that I hope you guys will enjoy
By the way I'm sorry if things move slow in this story
But that's how I like it because it's more realistic you know? But if things drag please let me know or if there's anything you don't like let me know I don't mind okay? Also let me know if you're liking it and if I should upload the 2nd chapter !!
