I lay with my head on his chest.
The day was joyful, filled with smiles and laughter of the others around us.
You could look outside the window and see hearts floating around everywhere. Literally.
Though now there was silence, it was soothing and something needed to end the bright day.
I looked up at him. He looked back at me.
Smiles flooded our faces.
I leaned up and gave him a small peck on the lips. His smile became brighter at this.
He hugged me tighter.
I sighed in content. The day was coming to an end and this was the best way to do it.
We held each other, ready for the day that follows.
Soon, our breathing evened out and we fell into a blissful rest, dreaming of another great day that we would have together.
