I woke up on the sofa, next to Marzia and Zöe. I must have fallen asleep.
"Hey Precious" Marzia whispered.
I wrapped my arms around her and she kissed me gently. I put my ear to her tummy and listened closely. I could hear the baby moving about when it kicked my ear. I giggled and noticed the red tissue strapped to my nose. I pointer at it.
"That nasty man did that. Who was that May?" Marzia asked, playing with my hair and stroking my cheek with her soft hands.
"My real dad. He killed my real mummy!" I wailed.
Marzia and Zöe hugged me tightly and got me a different tissue to wipe my eyes.
"Oh May. I'm sorry darling" Marzia and Zöe were crying as well.
"I'm sorry. Did I make you cry?" I said, wiping their eyes. "Don't cry"
They laughed and cradled me in their arms.
There was a knock on the door. Marzia cautiously opened it and revealed Dan and Phil.
"We were walking in Brighton and thought to stop by" Dan announced.
Marzia hugged them and invited them inside. When they saw me I started crying because of the state I was in, in front of them
"Don't cry....Craft" Phil laughed, coming to hug me.
"What's your name then?" Dan cooed.
"May"
"May Day!" Felix called from the kitchen.
I didn't realise he was up.
"Yes?" I answered, walking to the kitchen.
"Come here beaut"
I obeyed his instructions and went to see what he wanted.
"Go ask them if they want a drink, will you gorgeous?" He said, kissing my forehead and moving my hair from my face. I nodded and skipped back to the living room.
"What would everyone like to drink?" I called out in a posh voice.
They gave me their orders and I rushed back to Felix. I read out the orders and helped him prepare them.
"Take that to Dan and Phil" He handed me two cokes and I carefully carried them to Dan and Phil.
I repeated this for the next drinks. It was fun! Afterwards, I sat down on the sofa and sighed. I was exhausted.
"You are gonna be a waitress when you grow up, May day"
