Chapter 3: New Room!

After being licked to death by the pugs, Marzia brought out some clothes which she had bought for me whilst Felix and I eating mcdonalds. They were amazing. She had bought me a white frilly soft materialised dress embroided with baby pink flowers all over. To match with the cute dress, there were pearl white shiny flats and a baby pink and off-white hat to cover my blonde scragly hair.

"Thanks Marzia!" I hugged her and showed them to Felix.

"I saw your birthday is in a week or two, May" Marzia said suspiciously.

She smiled at me and whispered something in Felix's ear. I guess they saw my confused face because they just gave me a hug and told me that they have a surprise for me. On my birthday of course! They took me through to the lounge and showed me how to work the tv and where they all sat.

"I sit here" Felix indicated to the sofa in the far corner.

"And this is where I sit" Marzia pointed daintly to the sofa opposite Felix's spot.

I jumped onto a sofa and claimed it my spot. Marzia giggled and Felix laughed. Marzia took me to their room and showed me where they were if I need them in the night.

"This is my side and this is Felix's" She mocked Felix.

He just simply laughed sarcastically and brought me to a large room that was barcaded with a white door, painted and polished newly. I gasped and looked at them. They nodded and opened the door to reveal a colossal room refurnished with toys and technology that I didn't even know existed. The bed was a princess castle and had Disney pricesses on it.

"If you don't like it, we can change it" Felix murmured regretfully.

I giggled and jumped onto my bed in sheer pleasure.

"I love it!" I screamed

They smiled at me and left me to play with my new toys and discover the new technology and gadgets. Later on, Marzia came into my room and unpacked the little things I had. She looked at my Pikachu plushy and placed it in the centre of my bed, between my main pillows and small cushions, smiling.

"Is this yours?" She questioned me, pointing to Pikachu.

I nodded and blushed.

"I have had it since I was born..." I whispered to her.

"Felix will be proud of you. He loves pokémon!" She cheerfully told me.

I smiled at her and sat down on my floor playing with my new doll which I called Bibi because there was a dog at the orphanage that got taken away after a week or two called Bibi. So this was like a rememberance of Bibi the dog.

"Whatcha doing May?" Marzia asked, looking over my shoulder.

"Playing" I answered, showing her Bibi.

"Who's that?" She was pointing to Bibi.

"Bibi" I made Bibi wave her thin tanned arm at Marzia.

Marzia waved back and gave me a hug.

"It's getting late May" Felix reminded me from the doorway.

He told me it was 6 so I got into bed. They looked surprised.

"Are you tired?" Felix asked me, shocked.

I shook my head and stared at them confused.

"Do I have a bed time?" I questioned as politely as I could.

"Yes. But at 7" Marzia answered "Is that ok?"

She seemed worried. I jumped up with joy!

"Yay!"

Felix left to buy a suitable film for us all. Marzia stayed and brought in my new pjamas. I was so happy! She helped me slide them on and made me some popcorn.

"Shh. Don't tell Felix!" Marzia giggled.

I laughed too. She kissed me on the cheek to which I returned but it felt weird. I had never kissed anyone except Jess' old wrinkly cheek. I felt loved. We sat down and waited for Felix to get back. We played truth or dare and heads up which was so much fun and hilarious at the same time- ridiculous dares were made and funny heads up guesses were asked!

Just mum and daughter fun that my 'mum' or 'carer' never gave me...

It was so overwhelming to feel loved. It was so peculiar but lovely at the same time.
