"So, Names?" Mammy asked.
"Well, I am glad to announce our new family members as..." Marzia said.
We all did a drum roll.
"Jax and Xavier!" She cheered.
I looked at the babies.
"Which one is which?" I giggled.
"The little brunette is Xavier and the darker brunette is Jax" She answered, sniffling.
We took the time to welcome Jax and Xavier to the world. We all held them again and when we had all of Marzia and Felix's stuff packed, we left the hospital. I carried Xavier and Felix carried Jax to the car. Felix strapped the babies in a car seat, tightly.
"We will drop you off home, Mammy" Marzia smiled, hopping in the back, next to me and the babies.
Mammy nodded in acknowledgement, sitting in the front next to Felix, and Felix drove to Mammy's. It was quite a long drive but the babies kept still and quiet.
"Here we are. Right, Marzia. I'm going back to Italy next week. I'm sorry love" Mammy said as we parked next to her house.
"Italy! Can I go?!" I sat up in my car seat and looked at Marzia with puppy eyes.
"I don't know May. Not this time darling" Marzia shook her head and apologised "I'm sorry sweetheart"
I slumped back in my seat and looked out the window.
"Maybe we could all go back to Italy for a bit?" Marzia blurted out, seeing my disappointment.
I looked at her and smiled.
"Yay! Thank you Marzia!" I attempted to hug her over the babies but I didn't want to wake them so I stretched over and kissed her cheek.
She smiled at me and rubbed my arm.
"We won't be going anytime soon, but maybe when Jax and Xavier are 1 or 2? Is that ok?" Marzia said.
I nodded and wished the babies would grow up sooner.
"I will teach you some Italian, then you can make some friends in Italy" She grinned.
"Aw...Well. I better be off" Mammy interrupted, getting out the car and entering her house.
Felix drove off carefully and we arrived home a few minutes later. I helped carry the babies out, Marzia holding Jax. Felix got the stuff out the car.
"Hi!" Zoe whispered, opening the door slowly and greeting us all inside.
I carried Xavier into Marzia and Felix's room and placed him in his cot. Marzia did the same for Jax. We closed the door slowly, turning off the light at the same time.
"I might go have a nap" Marzia yawned.
"Same. Can you look after May Day?" Felix asked Zoe and Alfie.
"Sure" Zoe replied, looking down at me and picking me up.
