"Who are you searching for?" asked Lucas

With my eyes still searching for her, I said, "No one!"

This is my first Monday to be this excited to come to school. Last night I lost sleep thinking about the ways to reach out to her. I struggle to sleep daily, but I do it by reading or playing guitar.

Rather than read or listen to music yesterday, I just lay there remembering her and allowing her to motivate me.

However, I slept and am late to class due to a lack of sleep since I woke up very late this morning. I hoped she would be there before me, however, she hasn't arrived yet and it's 2nd period. I and Lucas came to the cafeteria after the class.

"Are you kidding me? Like seriously?"

I spilled some of my hot chocolate onto my pants as I asked, "What are you talking about?"

"I thought you were joking yesterday when you said that you wanted to talk to her. But from the first period, you can't help yourself and stop searching for that new girl."

"Well! Maybe I wasn't. I mean I wasn't lying about that whole new girl thing"

"Well, She didn't come today."

"Maybe she has a lot of work at home setting up everything."

"Someone's in love," he said and started laughing.

"Shut up! I'm not in love. She seems interesting and I just want to know her." I said

"Let's see! Come let us go, it's time for Demand and supply." Said, Lucas

We went to class after finishing our drinks. It was very boring after the first ten minutes. Mr. Carter was explaining about 'consumer equilibrium.' I was sitting beside Lucas, who is trying very hard not to doze off.

"Excuse me, sir!" A girl from the door interrupted him. And there she is asking permission to get into a class with her sweet voice. Wearing a yellow top and navy blue jeans, she looked so pretty the same as yesterday.

"Why are you late Ms....?" said Mr. Carter

"It's Anna." She said

!!! Anna !!!

I know her name now.

"Right, What is the reason behind you being late Ms. Anna?"

Her bangs fell on to her eyes as she said, "It's my first-day sir. I have to finish up some formalities at the office."

"Well! Welcome to 'Rockhill High.' Take your seat."

I saw her sitting on the second bench from the last beside a girl. I can see her hair sideways. I just want to keep watching her, but Mr. Carter is that type of teacher who will ask you questions and make you feel embarrassed in front of the entire class if he finds you not attentive in the class. Quite unexpectedly, it happened right then.

"Lucas!" he said

Lucas was shocked to hear his name and responded, "Yes, sir!"

"What will you suggest to a consumer who is spending all his income only on good x?"

"Ah! Maybe increase his income by joining in a new job." Said Lucas with no clue what was happening in the class before sir called him.

Everyone was laughing at his answer. I tried my best not to laugh as well. It's not new that Lucas gives all these silly answers.

"Silent!" shouted Mr. Carter. "What about you, Mr. Rivers? You got any suggestions?" he pointed towards me.

"To start spending on the substitute good Y and reach the equilibrium point with the same utility on both goods," I said confidently
