"You didn't even have breakfast." What's going on with you?" said my mother as she stood at the door to my room.

"Really mom, it's nothing. Everything is fine with me. I just don't feel like eating. That is it. " I said, laying on my bed.

"It's not about today; you seem unwell for the last few days, nearly a week, I believe," she said as she sat on my bed. "You can share anything with me, you know that right?"

I got up and sat with her, holding her hand.

"I know it. If something is there, you will be the first one, I would say."

"Okay then, so what are you thinking of doing today?"

"nothing"

"It's Sunday. I don't know why you don't go out much these days." Is there anything going on between Lucas and Ben? Did you guys? "

"Seriously, we're fine. There's nothing like that. You're just thinking too much. Trust me. "

Well, I'm not seeing them around a lot these days, and you are even coming home directly from school without hanging out with them. Is there anyone that you're missing? "

OMG! Mothers!

"Nope, why did you ask like that?"

Well, when you miss someone, you'll change your habits and try to be alone all the time and to not give that time you used to spend with them to others.

"Really? Where did you learn all this? "

"I'm Mom, right. I'll know. Didn't you see any changes in your brother these days? "

"Yeah, he's always glued to the television with his father, watching HIMYM.I remember him being irritated with me towards that show and Dad, like me, but now they have become partners and even forget us. "

Yeah, that is because Sophie is so busy taking care of her grandma and not seeing Max much. He's so missing her and that change is because of that reason. "

"So that's what happens when you miss someone." Did he tell you all this? "

"Well, I'm..."

"You are Mom." I know. "

"Yes," So, are you missing anyone? "

"Nope, I'm not."

"Well, even if you do, just hold on. Sophie loves Max so much because even though she can't spend much time with him, like before, he still misses her and waits."

"I know you love Max more than me."

"It's not the point; waiting for someone is good."

"Got it, but I am not missing anyone." If I miss you, I'll come running to you. I won't wait. "

"I know." She said and stood to go down.

What if we miss someone, what can we do so they'll feel special about that?"

"Well, your father used to paint pictures of me when I was away in boarding school, and show me after I came for holidays."

"So, I can write."

"Write what?"

"Umm, nothing, thanks for the grownup talk."

"Okay, enjoy your Sunday staying in the room."

"I will."

"Well, is it Anna that you're missing?"

"What? How? "

"Lucas," she said and winked as she closed the door.

I laid back in my bed and covered myself with a pillow over my head in embarrassment. I should kill Lucas for this, but somehow mom got to know about her, which I couldn't say for a long time. I decided to write a poem as I miss her, so I will show her after she comes back.

I spent all morning reading my old poems and was surprised at how much I'm into poetry. Actually, I'm good at it. I went through my notes on my laptop, where I've been noting all my ideas for the story. First, I tried to write but couldn't. Surprisingly, I can't even make two lines rhyme the same. I looked out of the window and it was afternoon. The clock showed 1 'O'clock. I set the book and pen aside and went to the hall to have lunch, as I felt hungry.

"Mom! I'm hungry. " I said to my mom, who's sitting in a chair reading some newspapers.

"Lunch's ready. "Waiting for you boys," she said without taking her eyes off of it.

"You are still reading the newspaper; it's 2 in the afternoon."

"And it's Sunday."

Okay, what have the TV lovers got into today?" I said, pointing at my dad and Max.

"Some movie, I think."

I went and sat on the extra couch near my dad, opposite Max. They are both very into movie.

"You watch movies too?" What about that meeting mother show? " I spoke

"Piss off!" said Max.

"Boys! You're missing the movie. " My dad said

I tried to watch and got into the movie so fast. It's about a married couple, where he has to go into the army because of the sudden war declared by the dictator ruling their country. They win the war, except that all the soldiers who came from the war get a new type of disease, so the ruler won't let any of the soldiers meet their families.

She keeps on trying to meet him, but they won't allow them to meet. He lives in that quarantine which is so wild and far from the town, bearing all the treatment until the last, getting well and meeting her at the last. The whole movie shows how they manage to wait for each other for two years, just because of the dictator's mistake.

I liked one line. She asks him how he stayed that long waiting for her. To that, he replies, "I just did. I don't know how." Missing you comes in waves, and I'm drowned in every second I was there. So, I made remembering you my hobby. I will remember every joy I had with you."

We finished lunch by 3 and the movie by 3:30. I went to my room and sat with a pen and a book. The stereo played in the '90s. I started writing. I know now that the only thing we have to do when we miss someone remembers them. I want to be honest, so I wrote whatever I got into, even if it sounds sad. I completed the poem and read it while laying back on my bed. I looked out of the window and the evening sun was spread all over the sky. The phone made a notification sound. I didn't respond as I thought it must be some spam mail. It made another and one after that. I put the phone on the table to check.

Finally, Anna.

It's a text from Anna.

The last one says,
'SORRY. MEET ME AT ROR. 7 SHARP'
