Eli's POV

I left the dojo with tears falling from my eyes. I was humiliated.

In front of liana, to make matters worse. By her dad, to make matters even worse than that.

I knew in this moment I couldn't live like this anymore. I want to be confident, popular, be able to fight, and call liana mine.

I need that girl and I knew I had to do something to get her.

A few days later we were back at the dojo it was Sunday so I hadn't seen Eli for a couple days.

He wasn't here, obviously.

Miguel said he hadn't seen him either and that he was ignoring his calls.

My dad began the lesson and the door chimed.

"Welcome to cobra Kai" my dad stated.

I looked to the door and saw a boy with blue spiked hair, when I got a closer look I was shocked.

It was Eli.

Damn what happened, he literally looked hot as fuck.

"Eli?.... what happened" I asked while trying not to drool with my mouth hanging open

"I'm flipping the script" he announced.

Even his voice sounded different. It was louder and raspier. It was hot.

"Wait are you the kid with the lip?" My dad continued, "nice cut bro!"

"See that, it doesn't matter if you're a loser or a freak or a nerd all that matters is that you become bad ass" my dad affirmed to the class

I was literally still frozen

Eli was just staring at me with a smirk on his face

"Hawk" my dad started,

"Fall in"

Eli took his shoes off and stepped on the mat beside me

I was still staring at him

He leaned in to me to whisper in my ear

"I think you're cute too"

he pulled away smirking and turned to the mirror

I turned to the mirror and made eye contact with him through the mirror.
