"HAH... HAH... HAH.."

[Y/N] forced her eyes open, squinting one as she tried her best to stop the bleeding from the recent wound she had gotten. Ju-hee sat in front of her, brows furrowed as she concentrated on healing the wound, gently pushing the woman's small hand away.

"You should be more careful, y'know...?" She mumbled, making [Y/N] hide her face in embarrassment, ears burning. "I-I'm s-sorry," She whispered out, downturned [E/C] orbs apologetic as she turned her face to the side.

After finishing up with her wound, Ju-hee placed her hand onto the woman's hair, ruffling up her fluffy [H/C] locks in an attempt to cheer the woman up. The two smiled warmly at each other, before glancing at Jin-woo, who had recently had his own fresh wound healed.

The party had cleared that raid easily, leaving no one except the two weakest hurt with a few scrapes here and there...

"Thank goodness this raid is almost over," [Y/N] mumbled, rubbing her palms on to her arms in an attempt to calm herself down. "I agree. Mind if I ask you two a question?" Ju-hee questioned, making Jin-woo turn to look at them both.

"Why are you two so adamant on being hunters, anyways? Fighting like this will only bring more risks....!"

"..."

"Sorry..."

"I'm not saying this for an apology from any of you, but I'm just worried! You might traumatize yourself, [Y/N]," The ginger argued, leaving [Y/N] letting out a breath, unable to answer the woman.

Traumatize?

I'm not traumatized.

I'm just scared.

Scared that I'll die in the most gruesome way possible.

"I doubt I will be traumatized any time soon, but... Thank you for worrying," The woman smiled slightly, getting to her feet before turning over her shoulder, "Come on, we have to get going..."

[Y/N] stared down at the glowing diamond held in between her fingers, heart clenched tightly. That glowing diamond being a magical core. She sucked in a breath, facial expression solemn. She knew she deserved that. After all, she had simply gotten beaten up, but did nothing nevertheless.

If only she was stronger.

Then maybe. Just maybe she would have more of it.

But she wasn't.

Glancing at Jin-woo, who stood at another corner of the cave, she couldn't help but feel empathy for the boy as he too, stared down at a single E-class magical core.

The woman sighed to herself, walking towards the man -- who seemed to be thinking about his life choices once more.

"H-hey, Mr. Sung?"

The man was pulled out of his trance, glancing down at the short woman, who held her hands behind her back, head facing another direction as her knees brushed together in nervousness. Her cheeks and ears were dusted a bright red and he couldn't help but to wonder why she always seemed a rosier hue around only himself.

"I saw you got only one magical core..."

Jin-woo hummed, curious as to why it really even bothered her.

"And I wanted to give you mine...! Please take it!"

She bowed low, holding out the glowing item in her small hands as his eyes widened, cheeks tinting a low shade of pink.
