Truth's POV.

I drove silently back to the house. I tried to keep my eyes on the road, but that was difficult considering I couldn't keep my eyes off the mirror. I kept waiting to see J3T coming for us in his car. But that never happened.

When I parked the car out front I saw a couple of the HU crew standing out front with Yuma. I felt mad confused as I got out the car and walked with Deuce and Ava up to them.

"Ava you okay?" Matt asked, craning his neck to see behind me and Deuce.

"I'm okay Matty." she spoke so soft I was surprised the guy could hear her.

I looked over at Matt and Jorel and asked, "Not to sound like a total dick but, what are you guys doing here?" They both looked at each other before Jorel spoke.

"Look we aren't here to try and take Ava back. We just wanted to make sure George didn't follow you guys."

I could swear that I was mistaken. "Wait, what?" I asked looking around at everyone. "Did I miss something? It sounds like you guys are on Ava's side." they both nodded their heads in agreement.

"Yeah we are. Look I've kind of had a feeling that Aron was the one that she had been sneaking around to see." Matt smiled over at Ava then continued. "I always had a feeling that when George first brought up the idea of kicking Aron out, that Ava was gonna side with him and not her dad."

"Really?" Ava asked stepping around me.

"Yeah. I mean out of all of us you spent most of you're time with Aron." He laughed a brushed his hair out of his face then said, "Besides Aron, you hung out with Jorel mostly."

Ava stood there looking at the ground while she debated on what to say. Finally she looked up, tears in her eyes and said, "Truth can I talk to you for a moment?"
"Uh yeah."

I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and walked with her inside to the living room. I sat down on the couch, waiting for her to speak.

"Hey momma don't cry." I said leaning forward onto my knees.

She laughed softly at the nickname I just gave her.

**Ava's POV.

I paced back and forth trying to figure out what the hell it was I wanted to say to Truth.

"Hey momma. Don't cry." he said gently.

I laughed and sat down on the floor in front of him. I glanced up at him, wondering if he would even care. He had to if he drove Aron to my house. I took a deep breath before speaking.

"Alright uhm...I don't really know what to say." I folded and unfolded my hands in my lap. "I guess it's just been a lot going on today."

Truth nodded his head and smiled softly. "I can understand that. And if you want my honest opinion," he paused to look at me for confirmation. I nodded my head. "I think that with what happened today the stress isn't gonna stop. And there might be a band member change."

My breath caught at Truth's words. I didn't want to think that my dad might get kicked out of the very band that he had started, but maybe it would do him some good.

I stood up from the floor and hugged Truth. "Thanks for listening bro."

"No problem Avie."
