*Sneak peak*

"I actually need to talk to you" Steve said to Natasha

Natasha looked at the two kids who were now playing a game of tag behind them before she looked back up at Steve and nodded "sure" she breathed out

"Hey we're gonna talk for a while, you two keep playing" Steve told the kids as he turned to face them

"Okay daddy" Lizzie replied

Steve and Natasha then walked into the next room of the gym

"Are you okay, you've been acting wired all day" Natasha asked with furrowed eyebrows as she looked at her boyfriend

Steve nodded "I'm fine" he replied before he cleared his throat "I, um, talked to Peggy today"

Natasha gave him a confused look as she nodded, not understanding why he was telling her this information.

"Well um, she's offered to help you with your case" he said "and possibly get it moved forward" he added

Natasha smiled widely as she embraced Steve in a hug "thank you" she whispered to him

"So your not mad at me" he asked with a cocked eyebrow

Natasha gave him a confused look as she pulled away from the hug "why would you think I'd be mad at you" she asked

"Because I kept this from you" he replied

Natasha rolled her eyes "if Peggy can help me keep Evan there's no reason to be mad"

Steve smiled at the red head before he pecked her lips

A week later,

Natasha walked into shield headquarters and went straight to her father's office.

*knock, knock*

"Come in" the masculine voice of her father said from inside his office

Natasha opened the door a huge smile on her face "ready for our lunch" she asked

Nick looked up from the file that was in his hands and smiled at his daughter as he nodded "let's go" he said as he got up and grabbed his coat from the back of his chair

The pair then made their way out of the headquarters and walked down to a small diner down the road.

"How was your week" Natasha asked
