You groaned, rolling of off the couch and (slowly) made your way to the front door. Akaashi was waiting outside, frowning at your tired and pained expression.

"Why are you actually here?" You asked, a little more meekly than you intended. He stepped inside, shutting the door behind him.

"You're in pain, [Y/N]." He said. You couldn't tell if that was an answer to your question or just him speaking aloud, but you didn't care. You were too tired to even think. Groaning, you leaned into his chest and your heart throbbed at his scent. He lifted you up (pretty easily) and carried you back to the couch.

"You're so cold," You shivered as you laid your head on Akaashi's chest and sighed. "It feels good."

"That's probably because you're burning up." He mumbled, resting his hands on your back.

You smiled and closed your eyes, whispering "heating pad" to him before drifting off into a comfortable sleep. Akaashi looked down at you, observing your face, your features, and he couldn't help how his heart started to beat just a little bit faster. He closed his eyes, joining you in sleep.
