CHAPTER 14

Next Morning,
In Study room

(Anirudh woke up by the voice of Bondita who was doing aarti in the temple.He sat on the sofa while rubbing his sleepy eyes,he stood up from the sofa and left)

In Temple,
(Bondita was doing aarti while her ksj and Sumati maa was standing behind her with their closed eyes.Anirudh came and stood beside ksj with his folded hands.ksj saw him and smiled just then Bondita finished the aarti and turned she saw Anirudh who was standing there with his joining hands,he smiled at her but Bondita downed her eyelashes and distributed the prasad.She then went to Anirudh and gave him the prasad Anirudh was about to say something but Bondita left from there and Anirudh sighed sadly and he too left from there.After seeing this ksj and Sumati maa looked towards each other and left)

After sometime
On the dinning table

(Everyone was eating their breakfast except ksj,Binoy and Batuk because they went out for a work.When suddenly Bondita started coughing,Anirudh immediately went to her and made her drank the water,he patted her back to calm her)

Bondita while coughing: me....mein....th...ik hu..

Anirudh: thik nhi ho tum Bondita, yelo paani piyo[he yelled and again made her drank the water but still Bondita was coughing badly,her eyes turned red and tears rolled down her cheeks and Seeing Bondita like this Anirudh's eyes too developed tears] Somm doctor ko phone kro

Somnath: jii[he left]
(Anirudh was continuously patting her back to calm her but still she was coughing)

Anirudh: Somm doctor ko phone kro[he again yelled]

Bondita: mei...mein thik hu[she said while coughing]

Anirudh: yeh thik ho tum dhang se bola nhi jaa rha tumse aur thik ho tum[he shouted just then Sumati maa came from the kitchen with a bowl]

Sumati maa: jamai babu yeh khada pila dijiye Bondita ko sayad thik ho jaye[she said while handling the bowl to him,Anirudh took it and made Bondita to drank that and after drinking Bondita felt some relief and stopped coughing]

Anirudh: thik ho na tum??[he asked while cupping her face in his palms.Bondita nodded and was about to remove his hands from her face but Anirudh tighten his grip and looked straight in her eyes] sachh mein thik ho na???[he again asked to confirm]

Bondita: thik hu mein aap chinta mat kijiye[she said while removing his hands and left.After Bondita left Somnath came]

Somnath: dada aa rhe hai doctor

Anirudh: mna kardo Som,ab thik hai Bondita[he said and left while looking towards the stairs]

In Bondita's room
(Bondita entered and sat on the bed while tears were continously rolling down her cheeks and in the nick of time Sumati maa entered and seeing her Bondita went to her and hugged her tightly while crying)

Sumati maa: kya hua Bondita? tu thik hai na??[she asked while stroking her hair]

Bondita: maa....aapne dekha na woh kitna pareshan hogye the par kyu??? unhe toh koi fark nhi padna chahiye na tohh phir kyu??[she said while sobbing]

Sumati maa: tere pati hai woh Bondita[hearing this Bondita separated herself and looked at her] chinta tohh hogi hi na aur jamai babu tohh vaise bhi sabse alag hai unhone tujhe woh azaadi di hai jo koi pati apni patni ko nhi deta
[Bondita turned and start breathing heavily]

Sumati maa: kabtak aise hi unhe saza degi Bondita maaf karde unhe mein janti hu unhone jo kiya woh galat tha par uske piche ki mansha nhi,unhone tujhe itna laayak bna diya ki tu apna hak mang sake meine dekha hai unhe tere jaane ke baad kaise hogye the jamai babu... na kisi se baat karte the,na kisi se milte the aur na hi tere kamre mein kisi ko aane dete the itna bhi bura nhi kiya unhone tere saath beta jo tu aisa kar rhi hai aur aaj tune bhi dekha na tujhe bas jara si khasi aayi aur unhone pura ghar sar par utha diya[she said while Bondita was crying] unka tareeka galat tha woh nhi aur woh sab unhone kisi aur ke liye nhi tere liye kiya tha tere liye khud khudki nazaro mein gir gye,tere liye khudke aadarso ke khilaaf gye,tere liye hi unhone yehsab kiya Bondita,tere liye hi[she said and went to Bondita who was crying,she wipped her tears and said] maaf kar....[she was about to say but stopped in mid when Bondita hugged her]
