3rd March 2022.
It's 5Am.
The trees are swinging, and the room is
silent.
I wake up in the same bed, with the same life on just another day.
I realise that if I don't get up now then Miss Allen will most likely end up dragging me out, in which I really didn't want to happen.

Although the room is silent, you can hear very distant foot steps.
Which only means one thing.
Miss Allen usually leaves us for the night with the caretaker and let's be honest, you'd think this type of orphanage would make a movie like "Annie" but,  we're not acting.
We really do have the hard knock life.

The bedroom door swings open to reveal Miss Allen, once again hungover.
She gives us all a strong stern look.

"What time do you call this?!
Get up! Get dressed!" She shouts a little.

We all quickly spring up and run to our clothes that are hanging to change.

"And this house better be spotless before breakfast.
You little brats." She yells.

"But we never clean this early" Alia looks at her confused.

"But we never clean this early" she mimics her.

She grabs her close with us quickly getting changed while watching.

"If this floor don't sparkle like the top of the eiffel tower.
All of your backsides will!
Do you understand?" She yells while looking at us all as she puts Alia down.

"Yes, Miss Allen" we quickly reply.

"What do we say, Paislee?" she looks at me.

"I love you, Miss Allen" I smile.

"Why any brat would wanna be an orphan is beyond me." She scoffs.

I run and jump on her foot by accident and we all run out of the room.

"You little shit" she yells.

We quickly clean the house and when we're done Miss Allen gives us a piece of mouldy fruit each.

"You don't want it? Don't eat it" she scoffs and walks out.

"It's always mouldy" I sigh and throw mine away.

"What was that?" She looks at me.

"I love you, Miss Allen" I smile quickly.

"Good" she nods and walks out.

All of a sudden a black car pulls up outside the orphanage.

A man gets out of the car and walks up to the door ringing the door bell.

Miss Allen opens the door.
"What do you want" she looks at him annoyed.

"Miss Allen, I'm David Loeffler.
I've come to speak to you about a matter." He nods.

"Oh, well, my goodness, come on in" she  nods moving out of the way.

"Thank You" he nods and walks inside.

"Well, Welcome to the orphanage." She smiles.

"I've come to talk to you about an orphan" he nods.

"Hm, all of my orphans are very healthy and happy.
Don't you see?" She nods.

"Miss Allen, I am the manager of a boy band named Why Don't We." He nods.

"A boyband?
Are they millionaires?" She looks at me.

"No, right now they're pretty much billionaires." He nods.

"Holy Jesus" she looks stunned.

"The boys would like to invite an orphan into their care for a week or so" he nods.
