Chapter 1 Introduction

Iris POV
Since the day of my birth, my parents told me that I would, eventually, met my soulmate. Nowadays, I'm not so sure, considering what happened a year ago with Cyrus. He came out as gay shortly after we broke up, I mean, don't get me wrong - I'm very happy that he found himself, but did he really have to be leading me on like that?...

His friends Andi and Buffy seem nice, Buffy's a bit intimidating, though. My friend Amber is still pretty bummed about Jonah dumping her through, which is a shame, because I actually really liked Jonah, he seemed like a very kind hearted, and genuine person-- to think, he and Amber ever dated? I wonder what he even saw in her. Well, whatever it was, it to have been something pretty amazing to hide her shallow personality or else we wouldn't be in this situation. What am I still doing rambling on about other people and their love lives, this is about me.

Hi I'm Iris, Iris Willows and yes, i know what you all may be thinking, my parents named me after a flower, but in my defense Iris' are very pretty so I could see why they choose the name. I also really like dinosaurs and the Medieval area, I just love history in general. It's very fascinating learning how people back then lived. Anyways, enough about me, I really need to be getting ready for school or else I'm gonna be late.

Mom: "Iris Sweetie, could you please pick up the pace? You're going to be late for school," she said from out of my room.

Iris: "coming mom," I replied while gathering up my belongings and placing them inside of my backpack
