"I managed to send the Elemental back through the dimensional rift, but I don't think I'm gonna make it off this bridge alive. Spider-Man attacked me for some reason. He has an army of weaponized drones, Stark technology. He's saying he's the only one who's gonna be the new Iron Man, no one else." Beck said into the camera. His face showing in time square for everyone to see.
Y/n stood beside MJ as they both gazed at the screen with worried expressions.
"Oh my god..." Y/n whispered.
"Are you sure you want to commence the drone attack? There will be significant casualties." Y/n recognized EDITH's voice in the speaker. She looked at the screen panicked.MJ stood beside her, just as worried.
"Do it! Execute them all" Spider-mans voice said. but it wasn't Peter. It was Becks voice.
The drones on screen fire and set the bridge into collapse. MJ went wide eyed as the screen flicked back to the news reporter.
"This shocking video was released earlier today on the controversial news website TheDailyBugle.net." The reporter spoke.
The screen went to Jonah Jameson, the news anchor for the Daily Bugle.
"There you have it, folks, conclusive proof that Spider-Man was responsible for the brutal murder of Mysterio! A warrior who gave his life to protect our planet, and who will no doubt go down in history as the greatest superhero of all time. But that's not all, folks. Here's the real blockbuster. Brace yourselves, you might wanna sit down."
Y/n scoffed listening to the news. her eyes still wide as Becks face appeared again. She clenched her fists by her side, remembering the fight with Peter against Mysterio and all that Peter went through. Just so that the world could call a villain, a hero. She glanced up, seeing Peter watching a huge screen in front of him. He sat in his Spider-Man suit, watching.
"Spider-Man's real... Spider-Man's real name is..." Becks voice was fuzzy.
"Spider-Man's name is Peter Parker!"
Y/n watching as Peter put hands on his head. She turned seeing MJ panic and run off. Sighing, she watched as Peter threw his head back in frustration.
"What the f--!"Peter yelled to himself.
"That's right, folks. Peter Parker. A 17-year-old high school delinquent harboring a homicidal hunger is in fact the vile vigilante villain Spider-Man."
People around Y/n looked at her with wide eyes.
"SHE KNOWS HIM!" one person yelled.
"HEY, STARK!"
Y/n looked around at all their faces. Each one angry and glaring daggers her way.
"Are you Spider-Man's girlfriend?" A man tapper her shoulder.
"Your the girlfriend of a murderer?"
"HEY, HOW DO YOU KNOW PETER? STARK?"
A line that struck her the most was..
"WOULD YOUR DAD BE PROUD OF YOU?"
She glared at the women who yelled that and turned back looking for Peters face. her eyes landed on the large screen that now displayed a picture of Peter with #1 on the front.
