The next morning was quiet in the Senju household, Sakichi having slept in later than usual until Kaiyu gave a knock on his door. "Yea-" Sakichi groaned as his heavy eyes opened to glance at the door. "Some girl is here for you. Says you're going to be late to training if you don't get up." Kaiyu said through the door and soon after his footsteps would be heard as he walked off. Sakichi sat up with a sigh, rubbing the sleep out from his eyes before getting dressed.
"Akame?" Sakichi blinked as he opened the front door to see the long haired red headed girl standing on the porch. She gave a bright smile, "morning!" Sakichi gave a soft chuckle. "Thanks for the wake up call." He said softly, stepping outside and closing the door behind him. "No problem. Everyone is there except you and Madara Sensei so I figured I'd come get you before Sensei gets there so you didn't get in trouble again." She laughed, remembering their first training lesson with Madara and how embarrassed Sakichi was for being late. The two made their way to the training field and met up with Hiro and Mitsuha. "Jeez Senju, you look like you've had one hell of a night." Hiro chuckled, eyeing Sakichis bruises and cuts. "You could say that I guess." Sakichi responded, laughing it off. "Good to see that you're back on your feet again though. Sorry that I left you alone to fight with that anbu.."
"Pfft- don't be giving me pity. I can handle myself, ya know... Unlike some people it seems." Hiro smirked signalling towards one of Sakichi's cuts. "Oh please." Sakichi rolled his eyes, looking over Hiro's shoulder to see Mitsuha sitting against a tree. The bandages from her eyes had already been removed. The others followed Sakichi's gaze and all turned their attention to the young Uchiha; soon earning her glare back. "What?" She spoke, her dark eyes darting between the three. "Antisocial much?" Sakichi teased, a small smirk forming on his face and earning a scoff from the Uchiha girl. "Get over yourself." She rebuttaled. A few seconds later, Madara would join the group.
"Today will be different from our regular training sessions. We will be playing a 'game' if that's what you care to call it." Madara's voice quickly caught the attention of the genins, all of them respectfully turning their attention to him as he pulled out two scrolls. Rolling them out on the ground before placing his hand above the seals that were placed in the middle of the paper. Applying chakra into the seal, it summoned two fairly big flags. One blue and the other red. "Capture the flag. I think the name explains enough. You all will be split into teams and you and your partner will be in charge of deciding a strategy." He informed, taking hold of the flags.
"Mitsuha and Hiro- blue team. Akame and Sakichi- red team. The flags will be placed a mile apart. You must return the opposing flag back to your base twice in order to win." Madara continued, signaling the genins to follow him deeper into the forest that surrounded the field. "Red team will be here." He stated a little ways into the forest, stabbing the pole of the flag into the ground. "Blue team follow me to your base. It will be a mile straight ahead. Once both teams are ready, I'll call out to start." Once again, Madara spoke straight to the point. Nudging his head for Mitsuha and Hiro to follow him.
Once Sakichi felt they were far enough away, he turned towards Akame. "Okay since I'm faster, I'll go after their flag. You stay here and guard ours. If they manage to get ahold of our flag- chase them down and try to buy time. I'll make sure to keep track of their location and if I sense them getting closer to their base- I'll come help retrieve the flag. Sound good?" Sakichi formulated a strategy within seconds. "Sounds good. As long as we can keep them from capturing our flag, they can't win so that should be our top priority." She nodded. "Exactly." Sakichi nodded back and the two went quiet, waiting for Madara's instructions to start.
A few moments later, Madara's deep voice resonated through the forest. "Begin!" He called out. "You got this, Akame. I'm counting on you." Sakichi said, readying himself before darting off into the forest. The forest was spotty; The trees were not laid out heavily, definitely enough room to run through with a flag as well as making it easy for Madara to keep an eye on both teams. Reaching the half a mile mark, Mitsuha ran past Sakichi; both of them not even bothering to acknowledge each other. 'they must have had the same strategy.. this could be more difficult than I thought.' Sakichi thought to himself as he neared Hiro. The Hyuga standing tall in front of the flag.
