Thin snow blankets the asphalt as we run, our combat boots slugging, loud enough to hear thuds of heavy leather.

The parking lot is jammed with cars, I smirk and look back at the man who's catching up beside me. His sleek hair disheveling from the wind.

He just laughs and shakes his head. Well, tonight is christmas eve after all, there is nothing wrong to have a little fun past and behind my curfew. And besides, my parents did not know I tiptoed my toes out the house.
