You were to be meeting your Fiancé tomorrow, word of your marriage to the Kamisato Clan Leader spread quickly, on the streets people congratulated you left and right, your longtime friend Kokomi had come to Inazuma city as to visit, after hearing of your soon to be marriage she was happy, but wanted to speak and know how you were doing, but you had no idea of this

It was the afternoon, you'd just finished having lunch but this time It was with the company of your mother, she'd never done so before and you'd never seen her eat, but Ei told you It was because she wanted to try a new change of pace, even though Archons technically don't need to partake in food, but she also revealed she wanted to be In your company more, since after getting married It would be a while before you would come back to visit per the rules

you were outside the back of the palace, kneeling as you played your Shamisen, the tune was light and lovely as it reflected on the day, although with a little sad tone to It

Keiko came outside to accompany you "my lady, there you are"

you turned "did something happen"

she smiled "not exactly, but the Priestess of Watatsumi Island is here to see you"

you started to smile "Kokomi, it's been long since I've seen her, this is a great time to catch up"

you wrapped up your Shamisen In its cover, rising to your feet you handed It to Keiko who told you where Kokomi was waiting, you then walked back inside heading to the entrance of the palace, Kokomi was greeting your mother also paying respects

Kokomi turned with a smile "(Y/n) so good to see you"

you smiled going to meet her, you gave bows of greeting first before exchanging hugs

Ei smiled "I'll leave you two you catch up"

she turned heading back inside, you then went outside with Kokomi to chat

"So, young lady I hear you're to marry soon"

you giggled "yes, It's no rumor"

Kokomi smiled "your Fiancé is the Kamisato Clan Leader, I hear he's disliked by the public"

you started walking down the steps "well, that's true, but I don't believe he's done anything to earn the hate of the people"

she patted your arm "you've always been a good soul, well how do you find him?"

"I've only met him once, when I was younger but never again after that, from that one meeting I could tell he was a kind and respectable boy, I'm to meet him again tomorrow after so long"

you both walked down the three sets of stairs, deciding to walk around In Inazuma city, as you walked together many paid their respects to you both due to distinguished, exalted status

Kokomi turned to you "Are you nervous, marriage is something rather huge"

you looked down "In truth Kokomi, I'm frightened as I've never thought of marriage, but since Mother agrees and I've been chosen as his bride, I will go through with this"

Kokomi giggled "It may seem frightening, but I know you'll have a happy life together although almost strangers now, I can tell you'll grow to be a happy pair"

"You think so?"

she nodded "mhm"

you smiled "Thank you Kokomi, but I do hope I'll be a good enough wife"

she smiled patting your shoulder "you have so much to offer, of course you will"

you giggled "Keiko said the very same thing"

as you walked along, you took out your fan as to lightly fan yourself, stopping at the snack stall you bought some dango milk, one for her and one for you, enjoying the drinks as you chatted about the old days when you were both little girls.
