Ei's Polearm was knocked away from Scaramouche, just as she looked up in shock to see you standing there holding your own sword as you stood In front of Scaramouche 

Ayato's eyes widened, "(Y/n)...."

"(Y/n) you shouldn't be here, stand aside" said Ei 

you shook your head, "No Mother,"

Scaramouche snapped back to reality and looked up to see you in surprise

"Listen...Violence will only beget Violence, Mother I know everything he did...but you can't kill him"

Ei let out a sigh, "you're confused...don't cause harm to yourself and the child...now go"

you stood your ground, "I won't!"

you turned around to face Scaramouche, "you were responsible for the Tatarasuna Incident right, and you killed those affiliated with the Raiden Gokaden"

Scaramouche met your eyes, "I did...."

"Tell me why"

he then went into deep explanation about what he remembers

you asked, "Who is Niwa?"

Scaramouche sighed, "the first person to tell me that I was human just like them...he was my first friend and family...."

he went on to tell everything that happened, and he told all the crimes he'd committed through the years which left you speechless but then something miraculous happened....

you were all given a vision of the truth of what happened that filled in all the gaps and absolved most of Scaramouche's blame for what happened In the past, Scaramouche sat there on the ground stunned...feeling many things hurt, anger, fury but most of all great regret

you turned to Scaramouche as tears came to your eyes, and you carefully got onto your knees as you dispelled your sword before bringing him into your arms, and he started to break down

you held onto him and gave his head gentle pats, knowing he needed comfort right now but when It was all over he wiped his tears away but then you cupped his cheeks

"you were a victim I can see that now...but your crimes can't just go unpunished"

he sniffled, "Why do you care so much anyway"

you smiled, "because I'm your sister,"

his Indigo eyes widened before he looked away, "Whatever"

you patted his shoulders, but then you stood up as you held onto your stomach

Ayato rushed over as he checked you over, "You...are you alright"

you looked him over too, "Yes, I'm fine what about you?"

 Ayato sighed In relief before he hugged you close, "You...don't ever do that again"

you hugged him back, "I had to do something...but Darling I should be asking the same of you...I was scared I'd never see you again"

"I know and for that I apologize...we were both hasty today"

Ayato then looked to Scaramouche and unsheathed his sword as he walked up to him

"And you..."

Scaramouche sighed, "you can all stab me If you want....It's what I deserve, I'll take the responsibility for what I've done"

Ayato furrowed his brows and he clenched the handle of his sword but then he put his sword away, turning as he let out a sigh "for (Y/n) I'll stop here"

you went to help Scaramouche stand up, and he wobbled a little bit before steadying 

but then he bowed low, "I'm Sorry...I caused pain to you and everyone over all these years, I was blinded by my hatred and I did many bad things...things I want to fix but I can't It's too late"

you brought him up, "As long as you take the responsibility...I'm willing to give you a chance,"

he looked at you with a hopeful expression, Ei walked up to him and they were face to face,

"In the past I didn't know what a mother was, but....I'm sorry I didn't give you what you needed"

Scaramouche stood stunned, but then Ei brought him to her In a tight embrace as he stood wide eyed and unmoving, before he slowly but surely brought his arms around her in return

you looked on as you felt a few tears stream down your cheeks, and you went back to Ayato's side as he put an arm around you, before he sighed "He's apologized but that's not enough...the past can't be changed, however...If you think so I'll give him a chance too"

Ei held his shoulders, "Listen to me, I will spare you from being Executed...but you will not go without punishment"

just then some guards arrived and they bound Scaramouche's hands behind him with rope

"Take him away" said Ei

you went to Scaramouche before they could take him away, "We'll talk soon I promise"

he gave a half smile, "Sure,"

the guards then led him to the holding cells in the palace basement, you then went back over to Ayato's arms as you held onto him tightly as you embraced each other, feeling fatigue come

Ei then felt a tear streak down her cheek as she looked to the sky, "It's finally over....".

(Sorry if this chapter Confuses anyone because I wanted him to gave an ending like this as he deserves, I wanted to add a what if situation despite It coming out of nowhere, I wanted a ending for him where he admits to what he did and realizes he's wrong but be spared a terrible end so he gets another chance)
