Give Love a Second Chance [Lisa X Miyeon]

Operation: Chaennie

"Alright, Chaeng, ready to woo the woman of your dreams?" Lisa said as she entered the Korean's room, holding a bunch of papers.

"Uhm, Lis... what's all that?"

"Ideas, chipmunk! It's time for operation: Chaennie!"

Chaeyoung could only furrow her eyebrows in confusion. "Are you really okay with this? I mean... I know you have a girlfriend but... Jennie was your first love."

Lisa could only give a small smile. "Yeah, but maybe... she wasn't. I'be never felt anything like how I feel for Miyeon, even when I was in love with Jennie. Maybe I was just in love with the idea of loving her... if that makes sense?"

Chaeyoung blinked. "It does. But anyways, what ideas do you have?"

"Well, since you know how to play guitar and your voice is literally like honey when you sing, I thought you could serenade her! Maybe in like a rented out restaurant or on a roof top somewhere? Obviously it has to be private."

"I like the enthusiasm, Lis, but would Jennie even agree? She's like madly in love with you." The Aussie mentioned, saying the last part with a hint of jealousy in her voice.

"Is that jealousy I hear, chipmunk?" Lisa teased.

"Shut up, monkey. It's not my fault you're literally everyone's dream girl."

"What have I said about bringing yourself down? Show Jennie that you could be HER dream girl. Win her over, so to speak."

Chaeyoung twirled her hair on her index finger, biting her lower lip in contemplation. "I don't want to get rejected, monkey. She literally said two days ago that she loves you. Maybe I should wait... or not tell her at all." She whispered at the end, her eyes filling with sadness.

Lisa pursed her lips in thought. She sat next to her best friend and put an arm around her shoulder.

"Chaeng... if there's one thing that I learned about love, it's that it only comes unexpectedly. Sure, she might reject you, but you have to try. Do what I couldn't do. I was a coward and I lost her to Kai... don't wait on someone else to sweep her off her feet."

Chaeyoung took a deep breath and hummed. "Okay, I'll try. I'll ask her... tonight when she gets back from her schedule."

Lisa grinned and squealed, hugging her tightly. "That's my chipmunk! Now, come on, let's see what other ideas I have here."

Chaeyoung smiled softly at Lisa's enthusiasm.

"So, how do you think Chaeyoung is doing right now?" Miyeon asked, as she cuddled more into Lisa's side. The Thai had gone to (G)I-DLE's dorm to spend the night with her girlfriend, since she had no schedules and neither did Miyeon, she figured she could stay over for the night.

"I hope she's okay, she said she would text me as soon as she could. I really hope Jennie gives her a chance, despite everything that has happened, I just want her and Chaeng to be happy, whether with each other or with other people."

Miyeon looked up at Lisa, the other girl looked down at the same time, having felt Miyeon shift under her chin. The Korean reached up slightly to kiss Lisa on the lips.

She pulled back a bit to see Lisa blushing, she giggled, "Babe, are you blushing? I figured you would be used to my kisses by now."

Lisa pecked Miyeon back and sighed. "I don't think I ever will, Mi. You're just so beautiful and sometimes I can't believe that you're mine."

"I feel the same way, Lis. I never imagined we would be here together like this. I'm glad I decided to confess to you."

Lisa hugged Miyeon against her tightly and kissed the crown of her head. "I'm glad you did too, thank you for coming into my life again."

"Thank you for accepting me."

Chaeyoung sighed nervously as she sat in the living room on the couch. She knew Jennie would get there any second. Every second that passed, the Aussie seemed to grow more nervous.

"Come on, Chaeng. You can do this." She whispered to herself.

"Chaeyoung?"

The girl in question jumped slightly and yelped, seeing Jennie standing in front of her, a look of confusion on her face. "You okay?"

The Aussie gulped and nodded, smiling nervously. "Y-yeah. When did you get here, unnie?"

"Oh, just now. But I saw that you looked rather nervous sitting here, I didn't mean to scare you, Chaeng."

"It's okay, Jennie unnie," She abruptly stood up, causing for the cat-eyed girl to step back a few. "Actually, I was waiting for you."

"Oh? What for?"

Chaeyoung felt her heart race and sweat start to accumulate on her forehead. "Well... I was wondering if we could go out on Saturday night?"

Jennie giggled. "That's what you wanted to ask me? You made it sound so-"

"Like as in a date, Jennie unnie." Chaeyoung finished nervously, staring at Jennie's face, trying to gauge her reaction.

The older Korean blinked a few times before she chuckled. "Chaeng, is this one of your pranks?"

Chaeyoung's heart squeezed painfully in her chest, how could Jennie think she was playing? "N-no. I'm serious. I'm..." she took a deep breath. "I'm in love with you, Jennie. And if I don't take my chance now, I might lose you forever."

Jennie stayed silent.

"Please, say something. Anything."

The cat-eyed girl could only sigh. "Chaeyoung, you know I'm in love with Lisa, right?"

The Aussie could feel the sting of her tears in the corners of her eyes, hearing the statement. "Yes, I know. But I just wanted to try," She stepped closer to Jennie and took a hold of her hands. "Jennie, please give me a chance. I know I can make you fall in love with me. Just spare me some time and try as well. It hurts seeing you pine after Lisa, knowing she has a girlfriend she loves. I just want to be the one you come home to, cuddle with, make dinner with and all these other things. Please, Jennie unnie, give me a chance to prove my love to you."

Jennie stared into Chaeyoung's eyes for a few seconds before squeezing the other girls' hand slightly. "I guess you better figure out where you're taking me, then."

The other girl could only smile happily.
