"So that's why you were trying to keep her safe all this time." Hiccup said after Eret finished telling them the story.

"And four months after that, Kierra and I discovered she was pregnant with my child." Eret said and sighed. "I loved Kierra enough to never sell her to Drago. And I was concerned for our baby. I didn't even get to stick around long enough to help her name him." Eret looked as if he was going to cry.

He could still feel the weight of his child in his arms, hear his little cries, and feel his tiny hands wrapped around his finger. He missed Kierra's sweet kisses, her smile, her bubbling laughter, everything about her he missed dearly. And he wanted to make it up to her by giving her and the baby the best life. He would have done his best to make them the happiest family ever.

"I'm so sorry Eret. If we had know about your family we would have returned you to them." Astrid said giving him a gentle hug.

"Thanks Astrid but after all that excitement I had completely forgotten about them until a week after I came to Berk. I won't rest till I find them. And I can't help but have this strange feeling that they are alive."

"Well I am not sure if we are gonna get out of here alive." Snotlout said.

"Why is that?" Hiccup asked.

"Them." They saw two huge green dragons, a dark forest green one and a pale green one, in the distance and were flying in their direction.

"Quick hide!" Eret hissed. "And clear your minds!"

The Vikings and their dragons scattered throughout the fort hiding in whatever possible space they could find. Eret managed to hide in an area where all the dragon cages were with Skull Crusher.

He heard the dragons land and he climbed inside one of the open cages and hid himself and Skull Crusher and yanked a cover over it to hide them completely. He heard footsteps and the creaking of floor boards and held still as the person walked towards the cage where he was and then heard them stop in front of it.

"Oi what's this here?" He heard a male voice asked. He heard more footsteps.

"That's a cage Joan. Supposedly these people kept those dragons in there for holding and then they treated them very roughly." said another male voice that was much deeper. And the strange thing was that this mans accent was roughly the same as Kierra's.

"Well do you suppose that there is a dragon in there Bronn?" The man Joan asked.

"Don't think so. From what I heard from Kierra was that the only dragons that were here when the battle took place were the ones that she was traveling with on that trapper boat." Eret almost couldn't believe what these men were saying. Kierra, the baby and the others were still alive? He remained quiet to hear the man Bronn say:

"Well there isn't anything here for us to scavenge for that the chief may need so we better head back." Eret heard their footsteps move away from the cage and grow fainter. Once he was sure that the men had left he carefully climbed out and helped Skull Crusher get out.

"Oh Thor she's alive! Kierra's alive!" he sang quietly to himself and hugged Skull Crusher happily despite the Rumblehorns protests of any overly cuddly affection. "I better go find the others quickly before those men leave." He rushed off humming to himself happily. His girlfriend was alive and he was going to be reunited with his son. It seemed as if the gods really were willing to help him.

Meanwhile, Hiccup was hiding in a very cramped place with Snotlout and Tuffnut and their dragons. Wasn't the best place but if Fishlegs were with them....well, it would be very cramped. The three of them were crammed in a cell that was sort of small. It wouldn't have been so small for them if Hookfang, Toothless and Barf and Belch weren't in there with them. Eret worried that if those people and their dragons found them the poor Monstrous Nightmare would get scared and end up burning them to bits.
