"Wake up mama! Wake up dada!" Eret awoke with the bed shaking and opened his eyes to see his son jumping up and down on the bed. "Wakey wakey!"

"Eragon go back to sleep." Kierra groaned pulling a pillow over her head. "Who gave him sugar?"

"Not me." Eret muttered rubbing his eyes and sitting up.

"Up! Up! Up!" Eragon shrieked jumping onto his father's lap and pulling at his face.

"Alright, alright I'm up." The three year old giggled and jumped onto his mother.

"Mama upppie!" He yelled and Kierra made a fake snoring sound. "Dada she no wake!"

"Hang on I know exactly how to wake her." Eret said with a grin. He got out of the bed and grabbed one end of the sheets and yanked them off of Kierra before be grabbed her ankles, yanked her out of the bed and onto the floor.

"What the hell Eret?!" She yelled getting up and smacking him with her pillow.

"No curse!" Eragon yelled unplugging his ears.

"Sorry but mama only curses at dada when she's mad at him my sweet." Kierra said patting his head and sending his father a dirty look.

About time you woke up. Moonfire growled sticking his snout into the room. The little one wouldn't leave us alone to sleep.

"Again who gave him sugar? He's only this hyper when he has sweets." Kierra asked picking Eragon up and walking him back to his room.

"No sweets!" Eragon assured her as she yanked his night clothes off and helped him dress.

"You better not have had sweets."

"Kierra where are my clothes?" She heard Eret yell from her room and heard something fall.

"I don't know, but you are definitely not those wearing dirty clothes to the training class!" She yelled back as she pulled Eragon's shirt over his little head.

"Oh so you expect me to parade around naked?" She heard Moonfire and Skullcrusher give a roar of laughter and Eragon giggled.

"No I am not that cruel. How about I have you walk around in a dress?" Eragon howled with laughter and fell onto his back, making it easier for his mother to slip his pants on.

"Gods above no!" Eret yelled in horror. Eragon covered his mouth to stiffen his giggles.

"Hang on I think I have some of my brothers clothes that fit." Kierra managed to slip Eragon's final boot onto his foot before setting him down and walking back to her room. "And what makes you think I would have you do that?"

"I'm not answering that." Eret said as she began to search through her closet.

"Here, put these on." She handed him a dark green shirt with a set of dark brown pants and some black boots and a simple leather belt.

"When you said your brother got his height from your mother's side of the family did you mean to say they were giants?" Eret asked taking the clothes from Kierra.

"No the men from her side of the family grow to be almost seven feet tall and my brother. He was taller than the average person when he was young but he was no giant." Kierra explained as she grabbed a pale blue shirt with light colored leggings and a dark brown skirt and brown boots.

"Well he certainly was a bit taller than me." Eret said as Kierra exited the room to dress.

Once they were both dressed, they walked down the stairs of the tree while Moonfire and Skullcrusher flew down. They found an elderly woman and a black cat waiting for them at the bottom.
