"Wake up rock head." Eret felt something nudge his head and poke his cheek. He opened his eyes blinked them to clear his vision.
"Where am I? Where are my friends and dragon?" Eret asked as he sat up. His head was throbbing and his eyesight was still a bit hazy.
"Inside a mountain, but I cannot tell you where you are exactly, but I can tell you where your friends are." The person who had spoken earlier answered.
Eret's vision cleared and he could now see the man a little more clearly. He had golden hair and a long neatly braided beard and wore some sort of armor... and he was very short
"What are you?" Eret asked rubbing his eyes to see more clearly.
"What? My good man I am a dwarf." The dwarf said looking a bit offended. "Have you ever seen one before?"
"Wait you're a dwarf?"
"Well didn't my beard or my height give you any clues?"
"Sorry my sight is a bit hazy at the moment."
"Well that's what happens when you get struck with one of those elvish sleeping darts." The dwarf reached over and pulled something off of Eret's shoulder and showed him a small dart.
"Ouch. Well were is my dragon and my friends and their dragons?"
"Your dragons are all safe for now. And as for your friends...well here they come now." All six of them emerged being led by a man, a woman with tipped ears and a strange bull creature.
"Eret!" Called Hiccup, "You're alive!"
"Last I checked I was and always had been." He said chuckling and getting up. The dwarf helped him up and led him over to the group.
"The council will have to decide your fate before you meet the chief of the Silver Dragon Clan. You landed on her island unannounced so her council must decide what to do with you." The woman, who Eret realized immediatly was an elf, said in a grim tone. "Pray to your gods that the council will have mercy on you all.

They shuffled forward through the tunnel till they reached a room that was lit by some brightly glowing fungus. There stood eight figures; four men and four women. They faced the dragon riders with grim expressions. One of the men stepped forward.
"And what shall we do with these seven Vikings?" He asked in a booming voice.
"Umm... let us live perhaps?" Fishlegs said in a helpful tone. The man glared at him and he shrunk back to hide behind Ruffnut who shoved him back to the front.
"Why don't we just kill them all?" Suggested another man. Snotlout looked ready to faint.
"It doesn't seem right to kill them out in cold blood. Perhaps we should see why they were near our home." Said one of the women. "Let us and our chief look into their minds."
"No I don't wish to probe into that one's mind!" One of the men said shaking a finger at Eret. "From what Gale told us that man was able to repel his most strongest attack. He could be our enemy! I say kill them starting with him!"
"Wait stop!" Called out a female voice. "Let me see these people."
Out of the shadows stepped out a young woman. She was wearing a black cloak with the hood covering her face.
"Shugurtal you know that we have to deal with these barbaric invaders." Said the man who accused Eret of being an enemy.
"Yes I know. But they may not be barbaric invaders like you think they are. Have you touched the minds of one to see what their intentions are?" She asked. "And have you forgotten that I was with a Viking man once and that your prince is half 'barbarian' as you put it?"
